Amazing clear water, golden sandy beach, right next to an archaeological site. Wonderful spot, not crowded by tourists, at least it wasn't at all when we visited. Highly recommended if you like peaceful amazing sandy beaches.

Itanos Beach is at the end of the road in the north east corner of Crete. It is tiny, but perfect. No beds, umbrellas, or tavernas, but sand, palm tree, and beautiful blue sea. Hardly anyone was there.
