Wonderfully warm and relaxing, but facility could be updated as it is not very appealing. Signs posted that say no food or drinks by the water yet there are tables and chairs and it would be very enjoyable to eat and drink outside.

The natural hot water has some brown mineral.
I rested in three pool, the first is outdoors for mineral in the water is imposible see the floor, second is indoors about 30 x 15 meters and 1 meter high is where the kids prefer to stay and play. The third pool is small, I am 1,8 meters and I needed sit on the pool floor covered with real hot water. The place for me is very different thermal places I was never saw.
In the same place is posible rent a horseback small trip and a local guy told me about some caves in the area.
Is posible buy a lunch and drinks.
I walked from Guasca Town to Aguas Calientes Thermal and is about 20 or 30 minutes is very close.

Apr 2021
We went to the Termales Aguas Calientes Guasca in April 2021 during the pandemic. We went during a time when Bogota was locked down so we were sure there would not be many people there. I had read some reviews on Trip Advisor prior to going and some were accurate and some were not.
The appearance of the facility seemed OK, the guy working the gate asked if we had a reservation. The place was empty and why would you need a reservation? Anyhow we went in and parked which they charge for parking, something I think is a little bit crazy considering where you are. (Strike 1)
We went inside and bought our admission and I would say that the prices were a little high for adults (25,000 cop) and high for children (23,000 cop). The thing that I thought was a little strange was that you had to buy one of their face masks that provided no protection whatsoever since it was a very very cheap one. I was not allowed to use my own. (Strike 2) Then to top it off they wanted people to swim in the muddy water with the face masks on. Yes swimming with a face mask. Have you ever been waterboarded? (Strike 3) Of course the masks were falling off the kids who were going down the slide and half the employees did not even cover their noses but whatever.
They do not allow you to bring your bag of clothes inside and they want you to pay for a bag check or bag storage which I thought was just another way to get some more money out of you. I dumped all my clothes and towels on the table and took my empty backpack to the car. (Strike 4)
They require everyone to wear a swim cap, if you did not bring your own swimming cap to swim in muddy hot water then you will need to buy one of theirs. The only way you can avoid this is if you are bald. My hair was literally 2mm long. I use clippers to go as short as it can but I don’t use a razor and I still had to wear a cap. (Strike 5&6)
There are some indoor pool things like a very cold pool next to a pool that is even hotter than the outdoor one but kids are not allowed to even put their feet in. This is Colombia where usually things are pretty relaxed but this place was not accommodating at all. The sauna and turco were closed or out of service.
They do serve food and drinks but we did not buy anything so I can not comment on quality but the selection looked decent. The reviews I read said there were some pitbull mix dogs who were there but did not bother to look twice at any of the people. There are several signs saying no pets allowed, so leave your four legged kids at home. The bathrooms were clean, I read reviews that said they were nasty but they smelled like bleach and were clean when I was there.
Overall it was cool to check out one time, I do not think I would go back. It was overpriced and not very welcoming even if I didn’t have to swim with a face mask on. I still do not think it was worth the 25,000 cop.
The outdoor pool is really just a big pool and they really need a bench seat in the water that would allow people to sit in the water, otherwise you just stand or swim the whole time.

A really nice and not luxurious place to go and have a refreshing and healthy experience of thermal baths with the difference that it's water is Detroit and not sulphuric like the rest of the hot springs around the world, the place is safe, customer service is excellent and the food takes long to be served as is only made by order and fresh which is a plus . The amenities are very good regarding the whole bath ext and the car park is quite good, camping site available and the view to the 🌟 stars is fantastic.

The water is that creepy baby pool kind of warm, has a very particular odor to it and will leave you covered in a beige tint. It is a hot spring, what do you expect?
Overall, a really refreshing experience.
