What shall we do today? Why not a cider tasting and snack lunch...
They offer tours with cider tasting and charcuterie plate included but you can also opt for tasting flights of 3, 6, or 9 two ounce samples along with some of the various items on the snack menu. Of course you can order individual glasses of cider or non-alcoholoic drinks including tea and coffee.
We opted for a flight of 6:
Kings & Spies (light but improves when paired with the Haus sausage or the salmon dip)
Pippins ( more body but still light with a good pippin apple taste), my spouse's favourite
Bramble Bubbly ( not at all bubbly, sweetish due to the inclusion of blackberries ), not to our taste
Rumrunner (definite rum background, hint of sweetness) a runner-up favourite for both of us
Sassamanash (Algonquian for cranberries; combines apples and cranberries with hibiscus flowers), cranberries tames the apple sweetness & my favourite
Pommeau (fortified with eau de vie) good dessert cider to offer something different
My spouse had the Saltchuck roasted chicken pie. Unfortunately the pastry was underbaked. (We have had Saltchuck pies before that were quite yummy.)
I ordered the Haus Sausage pepperoni stick with mustard: both the saussage and the mustard were quite mild but vastly improved when paired with the ciders.
We shared the Three dip platter: Hummus ( lacking in flavour), Salmon (very good), Artichoke (had I not been told, I wouldn't have guessed; spoiled by one of my own recipes I fear)
I'd certainly bring visitors here as part of our tour of the area.
We did take home 3 bottles of cider (Pippins, Rumrunner, and Sassamanash)

We booked online for an afternoon cider tasting mid-week without any difficulty. The outdoor patio has wonderful views of the orchard and beyond to the sea, and was a pleasant place to spend an hour sampling ciders. Some unusual and interesting ciders were on offer, but they tended to range from off-dry to sweet; although the cidery does produce dry ciders as well, these were not available as part of the current tasting menu. Each of us discovered a cider we enjoyed, and product is readily available for purchase, along with limited branded merchandise. Well worth a visit!

My wife and I went here as part of our private tour of Vancouver Island and Victoria. We were excited because we had never done a cider tasting before. The property is set right next to the apple orchard and you can see the water as well. There is a building with merch and cider in it for sale, then a patio area where we did our tasting. It was lovely outside in early August, so we sat a picnic table. We tasted 12 ciders - 6 Classics and 6 Fan Favourites. We had a fun time tasting and writing little faces on the lists next to the way we felt about each one. Our favorite was the Flagship. We didn't taste any food as we had already had lunch, but the service was lovely and the manager (?) explained our tasting and seated us with the utmost professionalism. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this lovely farm.

The ciders were great, the Artisan meat and cheese platter however is not worth 24 dollars. We had only 3 small slices of meat! I’ve never had a cheese and meat platter with such limited choices. It was a bit cold out as well so heaters would be nice.

We were taken to Sea Cove on a wine tasting tour, and found the hard cider better than the flaccid central Victoria wines we were experiencing. First, the facility was open, bright and expansive with views off to the sea beyond the orchids. It serves also as a wedding venue. The server was charming and helpful. There was an assortment of possible wine flights and we chose a drier one. We received a selection of six hard ciders that were complex, unique, and very well made. My preference went to the Pippins and Bittersweet. I would definitely recommend the drier flight as it had more than enough fruit and allowed the selected apple varieties to shine through. We also had a local cheese plate that paired well with food. Take a walk around the beautiful grounds when you visit. Recommended for a unique Victoria experience.

A lovely afternoon. The views are lovely, but we could not see them from our table. The food was very good but it would’ve been very nice if they had cleared the table rather than cramming our dessert in any available space. The cider is lovely and more like a wine. The chairs were very uncomfortable and we were not able to get a pillow or something soft to sit on. Some attention to detail, for the comfort of their guests would be beneficial.

A great ending to our vacation - dropped by the Sea Cider Farm. This place was highly recommended by friends and super glad we were able to do the tasting experience. We tried some very delicious ciders while sitting in an outdoor patio and enjoying the beautiful views of the orchard and ocean. We received a warm welcome from the staff and they provided great service. It was memorable and fun experience. Lots of laughter too. Highly recommend this place if you ever visit Victoria BC. PS -reservations are strongly recommended and can be booked online.

We called ahead to make a booking, though we turned up earlier than expected they were happy to seat us. Delicious ciders which I will now look out for in private liquor stores in my area. Tasty bites to eat are also available to order with your tasting. The views are wonderful even on an overcast day. We look forward to visiting again in summer!

Great set up outside with social distancing! Friendly Staff all around. First time there - hidden off the beaten path but great ambiance and lots of parking. Our party of 5 tried lots! 2oz x6 for the long selection comes preselected for you but the short selection come 3 of your choices. Alcohol ranges from 5-19%. Lots to try. Limited snacks available but charcuterie with cheese was great to pair with the tasters. A must try if you like ciders.
My favourite was Ruby Rose and Sassamanish. So smooth and refreshing.

Enjoyed the Omnivore Platter and flights of cider. (There is also a Garden Platter; and both platters are available as GF.) As cider 'favourites' will vary according to each person, I will just say, "try them or ask for suggestions." (There are good descriptions in the menu.) There are also non-alcoholic versions of cider (called "Temperance". This is a casual, relaxed place, not a fast food joint, in a lovely setting.
