This is an expensive diversion. Interesting displays and the butterflies are beautiful but it's all a bit small and would have been a lot more attractive in its day. They are renovating so I will be interested to see what they have done to improve things. You need to be aware that the butterflies will 'fly at you' around the... More

Amazing butterflies that fly freely while you stroll the tropical gardens. There is a well hidden iguana, poisonous frogs (inside an enclosure), a couple of flamingos, turtles and koi in the pond area and of course the parrots. There is a small green parrot that is very friendly and will sit on your arm. The staff is friendly and the... More

Outstanding greenhouse of tropicals and amazing to see the many butterflies, parrot, iguana, turtles and flamingos. Staff on hand answer questions and point to insects otherwise missed. Not a place to hurry through as there is a lot to observe. The terrarium frogs were unique. The butterflies land on sleeves and a delight to capture those moments on film.

If you know your butterflies then this is a great way to see some beautiful specimens... if not, it is a chance to learn more about the beauty of these wonderful creatures. Kids are always enthralled and adults also enchanted by the fragile yet elegant beauty of the butterfly. An experience you will not forget.

Best butterfly enclosure I have seen. Tropical plants, birds and other animals add to the experience. Great indoor activity on a cold winter day. We enjoyed it a lot. It does not take long to see everything in the exhibit but we spent a lot of time there enjoying the scenery. It is very hot so dress in layers.

Loved this spot since our kids were barely able to walk. It's calm, interesting and local. We recommend the season's passes if you would like to go more than once a year.

The Victoria Butterfly Gardens is definitely a venue not to be missed. I've been several times and enjoy it more each time I go. The free-flying birds and butterflies are so very beautiful and the flamingos and Koi fish are gorgeous. There are many benches which allow folks places to sit and rest or just watch what's going on around... More

I always enjoy a wander through the Butterfly Gardens. Aside from the various varieties of lovely, free flying butterflies, there is an assortment of birds.

I really enjoy this place it's a wonderful place to bring kids or whoever would like an up close (maybe to upclose ) encounter with butterflies of all kinds. The place can be toured as slowly or quickly as you like. I on one occasion was there and saw everything to see in 10 mins but have been there 30... More
