Visited for coffee and cake. Great views outside and plenty of room inside Cake was lovely, I could have eaten the entire cake. Coffee did the trick and there was a reasonable selection of soft drinks for mini me. Well Worth a visit

Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed our homemade cake and we quite agree it’s the perfect accompaniment to a warming coffee or refreshing brew. There’s nothing nicer too than been able to enjoy a cake adventure with family or friends, young and old alike. The money you spend in the tearoom helps us to continue important conservation work in Ilam Park and other special places in the Peak District, so once again thank you for your contribution. We hope to welcome you back very soon.

Don't bother going here! It would be cheaper to hire a catering company and silver service with a butler than to have a drink and snack here. Typical national trust rip off designed around wealthy baby boomer pensioners and not a single thought for normal working families.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent visit to Ilam Park. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your visit to our Manifold Tea Room. We do take great care and pride in the food that we serve, most of which is made in-house using National Trust recipes, quality ingredients, is competitive locally and reflects the quality ingredients we use, such as 'Red Tractor' meats, free range eggs, which cost slightly more. We think the result is worth the few extra pence. By using local produce ensures that land and nature are looked after in the way that ingredients are produced, reared or grown, As a charity all of the profits made at the Ilam tea room, car park, shop and membership go directly into upkeep of the park and the conservation work we carry out in the Peak District ensuring that such places are kept for everyone to enjoy forever. A good way of making your visits more affordable is to take advantage of our National Trust Membership which allows free admission and car parking to our properties and you can visit as often as you wish.

Many thanks for taking the time to review our tea room and for the great feedback. We do hope you can visit us again soon. The tea room is looking very warm and inviting with all the Christmas decorations and from Friday 6th December is getting everyone in the Christmas spirit, with tempting festive treats and mulled wine, also why not pop in to the shop for some inspirational gift ideas. There’s shenanigans in the park with spot the reindeer wearing scarves! and Christmas cracker jokes and games on the Winter Wander Trail, Christmas trees twinkling in the park and have a peek inside Ilam Church, which from the 7th December, will be adorned with community decorated Christmas trees. Best Wishes for the festive season from all at Ilam Park.

Visited today having parked here for a very reasonable £5 for the whole day, walked to Dove dale, up Thorpe Cloud and back via the diversion route for dog owners. The sun was shining so delighted to be able to sit in the gardens with that amazing view after quite a hike. Was
