The gazebo is just a small part of the gallery, you walk from there across a nicely decorated bridge to the converted house and all of the rooms there also house art prices for sale.

we were passing by and the initial pagoda catches your attention. We took about 20 minutes to look around and see the variety of arts presented. The "space" is lovely and breaks up the walk down from Monteverde to Santa Elena

We loved this shop. Many rooms in this house with art collected/submitted from many artists. There was paintings, cards, carvings, souvenirs, hand painted masks, glass blown objects etc. It well worth a visit. Look for the sign for the Monteverde Art House.

Stopped by, looking for something more than the standard souvenir shop. So glad that we did. Not only do they have unique artwork, but it's highly varied as well. Everything from woodworking, to textiles, to graphic arts. Definitely worth a stop unless you're looking for cheap, mass produced knick knacks -- in which case there are lots of those places... We stopped in to have a look on the way back to the hotel. The art house is on a steep hill and we wanted to have a breather and a look at what was there. Interesting place with intricate woodwork but the shop keeper was not very welcoming so we left

The Art House contains artwork from many local artists, most of which would make great souvenirs from your Costa Rica travels. My wife went in not looking to make any large purchases. We purchased a few smaller items to take home, but the larger art pieces were incredible, and would be an awesome way to commemorate your trip to CR!... More

Loved walking through the Art House, it was a quick walk from my hotel and on the way into town. This offered quality art and not the typical mass produced souvenirs you would find in the shops in town. Beautiful paintings by local artists, carved sculptures, good value. I ended up buying a painting that we love. It's about 4'... More

We spent an hour looking through the gallery and finally decided on a small- and quite affordable- original watercolor by a local artist. We're thrilled to have this as our momento of our first trip to Costa Rica.
