The Inverness County Centre for the Arts is a unique venue suited to a variety of exhibitions and events. The 8, 640 square foot centre is located in a tranquil setting, and has ample parking to accommodate large groups. Our professional exhibition space showcases the talents of local and world-renowned artists. The gallery includes a large gallery with an observation balcony, adjacent outer gallery and the Third Meadow Gallery Shop featuring artists from across Inverness County and beyond. We offer a spacious, naturally lit studio to host seminars, demonstrations, and instructional classes. The inspiring ocean views make the studio a perfect setting for private studio space. Our large reception room is designed to accommodate a number of occasions, including meetings, conferences, luncheons, social gatherings, and musical performances. The space includes a raised performance stage, complete catering kitchen, bar, audio and video equipment, and several full-length windows.

In addition to a wonderful place to view local artists work they have a wonderful venue for events. One hundred and eight of us gathered there for a magical night of food and festivities.

Inverness Centre for the Arts has a full calendar. You can see events on their website.

A small gallery but really nice. - Shows change monthly.
In the summer there are great yoga classes as well.
Locals put on a Cabaret every few weeks in the evening - pretty fun.
I also like the gift shop :)

I had the opportunity to visit this art center while my husband was golfing..what a gem! The shows change every month and there is a wonderful gift shop as well. Building is well maintained and garden out front is very lovely. They have a nice deck outside where visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. They also have events all summer long. Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip to Cape Breton.

Since I am not a golfer, and my husband was busy on the Cabot Links, I decided to stop here for a short visit. The location is just off the main highway, but the gravel road driveway up to the center is VERY rough and full of holes......take your time!
The art gallery is very interesting and the displays are well done. I purchased a hand-made scarf in the gift shop and found the staff there very friendly and helpful. The flowers beds at the front of the facility are very nice. I will visit again when we get back in the area.

One of the few things to do in Inverness when you are not golfing. They were between exhibits when we were there, but they have a very nice craft shop.

very clean facility, staff were very helpful. they have a very nice bar and stage area, great for smaller venues, such as dinner theatres or fashion shows. Great deck outside overlooking the ocean. Flower gardens are beautiful. Only downside was the street going into the centre very rough and unkept.
