The course itself is beautiful. They are trying to make this a high end destination with a true links experience. Unfortunately they fail terribly with the high end experience. The cost of a round of golf is definitely on the high end, but the experience...More

A friend recommended we have lunch at Cabot Links. Unfortunately we weren’t golfing , but is there anything better than enjoying an Arnold Palmer on a sunny afternoon watching the approach shot of golfers walking on to the green with their caddies. Friendly service from...More

Course was in great shape and very walkable. If playing it for the first time I would recommend a caddy as there are some blind shots and the greens can be hard to read. Our caddies were very helpful, friendly and fun to walk the...More

Don’t hesitate...get here quick before the world discovers these two gems (links and cliffs). Pricey but compared to playing top US or European tracks, it’s well worth it.

I’ve wanted to play here fir years. I’m from cape Breton and it has sentimental value. But wow. Just beautiful. Friendly helpful staff in the pro shop and on the course. Well maintained fairways, tee vices and greens. Amazing views of the ocean and inverness...More

Came here for the courses and wasn’t disappointed! Thought Cabot Cliffs was by far the better course. Cabot Links was good but to many areas that you couldn’t recover from. And I broke 90 on both.

My boyfriend is the golfer and he LOVED this course. I walked the course and did some photography and thought it was extremely beautiful. We did 18 holes and took about 4.5 hours. Notes from a golfer: The range is a 10 minute shuttle ride...More

I am about a 10 handicap as well and the Green tees are plenty unless you are a scratch golfer.

8 day/9 night trip to Nova Scotia (4 Replies)
My family and I are going to Nova Scotia on June 7th and leaving June 16th and I am looking for some helpful feedback and suggestions for our trip. I have a 15 month old along with 2 older children, so we decided to make it easier we would stay in just two locations and do day trips to the various attractions. For the first four nights we are staying in Peggy's Cove and the last 5 nights we are staying in Baddeck. So here is a rough itinerary: June 7th: Flight lands at 3:45. By the time we...More

I think you're isolating yourself with 4 days at Peggy's Cove. To me Peggy's cove is a day trip at best and I think you'd be better off staying somewhere on the South Shore, Lunenburg, Chester, Bridgewater and day trip from there. Puffins in Nova Scotia are few and far between, I picked this off a Government web site. "Promotional and tourist information about Nova Scotia is often decorated with the familiar image of the Atlantic puffin. This colourful seabird with its "clown-like"...More
