The course itself is beautiful. They are trying to make this a high end destination with a true links experience. Unfortunately they fail terribly with the high end experience. The cost of a round of golf is definitely on the high end, but the experience...More
A friend recommended we have lunch at Cabot Links. Unfortunately we weren’t golfing , but is there anything better than enjoying an Arnold Palmer on a sunny afternoon watching the approach shot of golfers walking on to the green with their caddies.

Course was in great shape and very walkable. If playing it for the first time I would recommend a caddy as there are some blind shots and the greens can be hard to read. Our caddies were very helpful, friendly and fun to walk the...More

For the first four nights we are staying in Peggy's Cove and the last 5 nights we are staying in Baddeck. So here is a rough itinerary: June 7th: Flight lands at 3:45. By the time we...More

To me Peggy's cove is a day trip at best and I think you'd be better off staying somewhere on the South Shore, Lunenburg, Chester, Bridgewater and day trip from there. Puffins in Nova Scotia are few and far between, I picked this off a Government web site. "Promotional and tourist information about Nova Scotia is often decorated with the familiar image of the Atlantic puffin. This colourful seabird with its "clown-like"...More
