Pepperbox Hill is very interesting. It was a Hunting Tower for the forests nearby. The ladies would watch the hunt from the tower. You can see Salisbury from the hill. There is a carp part and it is a good place to walk a dog...More

The "pepperbox" is just a folly with no access (its bricked up), but as a location it affords good views over Salisbury to the north and south towards Southampton and the New Forest.

The views on a clear day from here can be stunning but that's about it ! The structure is not accessible and is a bit of a folly !

This is a wonderful spot to just take a few steps form the car and take in the scenery, or for the more ambitious a lovely countryside walk
