I heard Rebecca Spit was beautiful but it was prettier than I imagined. The water was crystal clear with tropical bluey green colors. Spectacular!

Rebecca Spit is an interesting land-form. It is easy to get to and great to explore. The Drew Harbour beach is sandy and the water quite calm. The outer beach is covered with rocks and driftwood and often bigger waves. There are picnic areas scattered...More

This area was close to our accommodation; we walked the tracks, swam in the sea and relaxed with the locals. It was very pleasant; although the public toilets were a bit on the nose.

Easy in and out from the boat launch make this spot a no brainer when you’re deciding where to kayak first as a novice on Quadra Island. The protected bay makes for a great practice before moving on to more challenging weather conditions/locations. Family friendly...More

We were staying overlooking the spit and it was just beautiful. On the day we decided to walk the length of it, the weather wasn't good so we parked the car half way along and walked the rest. There is some amazing driftwood on the...More

Well shaded picnic area with a large field for sports and kids to play. Bikes are allowed half way then walking only. Can’t recommend enough. The spit is calm and almost lake like. Ocean side offers amazing views of Cortez. We spent hours!
