Is a very interesting place to go and see and hear about the history of Pender Island. A lot of artifacts and interesting things to see especially if one is interested in the past. Especially the early history of Pender Island. I would recommend going there.

Absolutely loved this charming museum. The location is picturesque. Our visit was facilitated by Simone, who went out of her way to make our visit enjoyable. The tour was very informative, and Simone was a delight to talk with regarding the islands history.

We really enjoyed our visit here and hike to the tip of the island to show our visiting friends a bit of Pender island history, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

What a fun place to explore with the different buildings on the land and the beautiful views out to the ocean.
It was not open for tours at the time we arrived but we still enjoyed walking around the outside and area surrounding.
Well worth a visit to take some history in

Situated in the old farmhouse where a pioneer family, the Roes, lived, this museum really gives visitors a sense of what it was like to homestead in Pender Island's earlier days. Staffed by volunteers who really know the history and the area, it's well worth a visit. It's also located on wonderful grounds which are now all parkland. A few old buildings still stand from the days when the Davidsons had a resort here called Roesland. Be sure to walk out to the headland and the white bench, admire the beach, the old heritage orchard, and the stands of Arbutus. It's food for the mind and tonic for the soul combined.

The museum is small but very well organized. The gentleman there is kind, honest, and informative. Love the visit. Highly recommend.

This is worth visiting if just for the island walk park. With sea view benches with a full ocean view makes this a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. The Time Period museum just makes this a bonus.

Our group stopped at this Museum for a volunteer docent-led tour. The docent was very knowledgeable about the history of Pender Island and was extremely friendly and approachable.
