We played the 9 Hole Course on Quadra Island for the first time. Had a great time! It is not a fancy course, but the fairways and greens were in great shape. It has some challenging holes and some significant ups and downs. If you miss the fairway and rough, your ball is toast. The 9th hole was a challenge. Great views and a wonderful meander through the woods and hills. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely play there again.

Had the opportunity to play this lovely new course this past week. It is a wonderful setting, and the course is well laid out, making each hole it's own interesting 'challenge'. When I say challenging, it's not a particularly difficult course but be prepared to possibly lose a few balls. The greens and fairways were in good condition, particularly for such a new course. The only thing we might recommend to the management here is a cart upgrade to newer electric carts. It is a fairly hilly course so If your playing 18 holes on a warm day, a cart might be recommended. All in all, a very enjoyable afternoon 'in the
woods'.

This is a beautiful 9 hole course that is carved out of the woods and surrounded by nature. The fairways are narrow and challenging but in beautiful shape and the club members have gone to great lengths to clear out the underbrush along the sides. Although there is no clubhouse, they do sell refreshments and afterwards I enjoyed reminiscing about the game and chatting with the very friendly local members. Great experience.

I can report that the Quadra Island Golf Course is well worth taking in as part of the Quadra Island experience. I have golfed there since the course opened and have seen some excellent improvements, including clearing out some of the deep woods brush and making the greens very acceptable for the average and above average golfer. I love the fact you are out in the woods away from any traffic noises. I also like the way the course provides some challenging shots with some interesting dog legs. My only recommendation would be to provide electric carts rather than gas carts which are out dated. I have had some great times at this course with some special friends from Nanaimo even though I have lost many golf balls along the way. Not the course's fault. Love it, cheers, Rich

Loved this course- like a nature walk with no houses in sight. The greens and fairways were in very good condition, and the staff even picked us up (and dropped us off!) at the ferry terminal. Highly recommend it!

This nine hole course is hidden gem on Quadra Island. The course is challenging for the low handicapper and playable for the high handicapper. The condition and maintenance of the course is very good with steady improvement year over year .
The staff are incredible, very friendly and extremely helpful.
While we played a rain shower threatened and the receptionist hurried around the course with umbrellas for us!! Bring a few extra golf balls and enjoy a perfect day in the quiet of nature!

Wonderful modern 9 hole course, Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. The views to the ocean and mountains capped it off. Thanks to manager Jason and staff for a great golf experience. They even have a free shuttle from resorts and marinas to the course.

If you're coming to Quadra Island, bring your golf clubs! Quadra now has it's very own golf course! In it's 4th full year of operation, the course is in excellent shape with a picturesque setting, challenging layout and excellent greens! The rough is still quite "rough" in places, but a dedicated group of volunteers is working away to make it more forgiving. The rates are very reasonable and they offer a free shuttle service from the ferry terminal (if you don't want to bring your vehicle) and all resorts and campgrounds. They will also pick you up at the dock if you are on a boat. Don't miss it. It's a real treat!

An excellent 9 hole course!!! It is so beautiful and a great walk. The staff is so nice and hard working. Our friend lost her wolf club cover and they alerted everyone and they found it! Thank you so much!
Another must visit is James Pottery. It is located at the end of Joyce Road. They are world renowned potters. Their hand painted bowls, plates and mugs are a must buy:)

My wife and I golfed here on June 6. We weren't going to rent a cart at first, as we were only doing 9 holes. We did end up renting one as it was quite a hot day, and we were glad we did. There are quite a few hills on the course. You want to stay on the fairways here, as anything in the rough is very hard to find. Loved #9 - a PR 3 over a pond.
