Loads of free parking and a nice walk to the museum along wooden boardwalk overlooking the beach. Two floors of history to read, artefacts to view, buttons to push for the kids and short films to watch including one about a shipwreck that took many...More

It is worth stopping here, as the rangers are full of great information. They will show any film you'd like to see on the area - the list is hanging next to the theater. It's a good starting point for the South Beach Trail, too...More

The location and views are fantastic. The visitor center is small and has some interesting information but will not take long to view everything it offers. At least one of the informational signs needs to be updated, though, to be more accurate because it depicts...More

Very interesting small museum, with lots of info on the history of the area and the people living there. All in small texts and with lots of beautiful pictures and paintings.

Helpful staff, interesting displays and a fabulous view of the beach and ocean (on a good day) make the Kwisitis Centre well worth a visit. I would give five stars if it had a coffee shop.

Great place to visit. We went into the gift shop and the guy there was very chatty and friendly. Also wandered around the exhibits which are well annotated and worth a look. The beach is a great place to walk or play.

We visited the Kwisitic Center on 3 different occasions, always to attend the free naturalist-led educational programs. All the walks were family friendly, and the naturalists very knowledgeable and approachable.
