This focal point is one of the highlights of the Wild Pacific Trail system. Easy walking and paved for wheel chair access. Wonderful views of rough water and big waves when the weather is stormy.

When we were there, the lighthouse wasn't open to visitors. It didn;t look like it ever opens to visitors. However the walk around the lighthouse, the wild pacific trail, is fabulous and well worth doing. The views are amazing.

Go north or south from the lighthouse and you'll see very different views and you won't be disappointed.

Visited this area on a sunny afternoon in December! A very rocky outcropping surrounded by crashing waves. Views of Vancouver Island mountains in one direction, the vast Pacific in another.
