Nice, easy loop trail leading to historic lighthouse

The loop trail is easy and provides beautiful coastal scenery, with benches here and there along the trail. There is access to a few beaches and tide pools.

Saw this lighthouse from walking one of the trails in Ucluelet. Though they recommend not doing it we walked the rocks to get a up close view of the ocean. It was a bit tricky but worth it. YOu just have make yourself aware of the tides though on a calm day not sure it would be a hugh issue.... More

We walked around the trails and the views from the trails were beautiful. You can even see whales from the lighthouse sometimes.

This is part of the Wild Pacific trail. See my review of that for more information. The lighthouse itself still functions but has been automated. Enjoyable clambering on the rocks around it can be done by those unfearful of falling or admonitory signs.

Arguably not a whole lot to see but magnificent views, and cute lighthouse, on interesting rocky outcrop

Easy trails and great views leading up to the lighthouse. We took the Lighthouse trail from Terrace Beach. Lots of slugs so be careful where you step. :) Great short hike to a pretty view.

The lighthouse itself is very interesting, and the loop trail to access it is a very pleasant walk through some very nice forest, but bear in mind the lighthouse has no keeper - it's automated, and the keeper's house is either abandoned or inaccessible.

You really dont need to make an excursion for just this feature but as part of the pacific rim hike it is definitely worth a look.

The Wild Pacific Trail is such a gorgeous place for a leisurely walk, and the lighthouse offers just one more place to stop on the way. It is a great place to hop on rocks, and we also enjoyed watching mother deer and fawn only a few feet away.

I enjoyed the scenery very much. The different forms of the trees, the Information boards you can read and learn from and finally the lighthouse with it's surrounding. Definitely a must-do.
