The Lighthouse Loop is a 2.6 km trail that has a al little elevation, but is pretty easy walk for all ages. There is a lot of free parking, and amazing viewpoints of the ocean, rocks and waves crashing. We were there at dusk and so we saw lots of baby deer grazing in the woods. It took about an hour to do the loop because we kept stopping to gawk at the amazing views. Our favourite walk in the area - highly recommended.

This lighthouse, with its accompanying lighthouse keeper’s house, is located on the spirit-lifting Wild Pacific Tail, in the coastal rainforest of Vancouver Island’s west coast, in the ocean village of Ucluelet.
It had some earlier reincarnations but the concrete structures, which is now incorporated in the Wild Pacific Trail — built to withstand the fierce storms the region experiences -- was opened in 1915.
It was automated in 1988, then becoming a resource for visitors and locals alike.
A few years back, Ucluelet received both Federal and Provincial money to further develop it into an educational center at which to learn about the region and its long history.
Watch this spot.

The lighthouse and the trail that leads out from it are well-documented and descriptions give a vivid picture of the life and times in the early 1900's. The trail is very well done and easy to walk on. No machete needed! Go in the morning of you're going to hike the trail, it's a good 3 hours with stops for photos.

The lighthouse is amazing. Lots of signage with information, yesterday it was super foggy so it was cool to hear the fog horn going. The trail loop is about 2.6km and due to Covid the loop is one way. There is plenty of signs stating that along with barricades but people are just walking right by the barricades and walking the wrong way. The trail is one way because the locals have asked for it, it shows a lack of respect when you blatantly disregard directions. There were so many people checking out the sight with many not social distancing either. We did not stay long. But the lighthouse is one of my favourite places to go relax for awhile while in ucululet

This is a bit of west coast history that still has importance in the present. Outside viewing only. Go directly by road and a short walk or enjoy the nearby loop trail. Parking for all sized vehicles is free and there is no admission fee.

The lighthouse is situated in a beautiful setting right at the Wild Pacific Trail parking lot. The lighthouse was closed when we were there August 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The walk around the Trail is beautiful; highly recommended!

The Amphitrite Point Lighthouse is part of the Lighthouse Loop on the Wild Pacific Trail. It is enjoyable in any season as in winter you can storm watch. The grades of the trails are not too steep making them accessible for most. Enjoy!

This spot is easy access via car or even walk. The town is accessible via foot too. The parking is very convenient and everything is closed from the parking. You can access the lighthouse and you can do the whole loop or just certain spots to take pictures. There is a lot of private bench to enjoy the view. Beside the ocean views you can enjoy the forest experience too. The whole loop is approx 1 hour but I just did the lighthouse portion

Beautiful walk and lighthouse suitable for all ages and abilities. We pushed our stroller around the loop and had no difficulty. Give yourself at least 2 hours here as you will want to stop at every viewpoint for pictures. The lighthouse itself is also very well maintained beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.

The loop is probably one of the nicest hikes or walks that we have done! The scenery is spectacular with many view points along this 2.6K loop. It is an easy walk with quite a few elevation changes and it seems longer than the stated 2.6 k's. I think this is because you can't help but stop and take in the stunning ocean views. This is truly a gem of a walk and well worth visiting!
