I can't say enough about Toddy and Al or their tour of the Broken Islands. They welcome you into their home (they live aboard) and make sure you feel a part of a circle of 20+ people almost immediately. They had us all squeeze into their living room for the safety talk and right away they had us laughing, and... More

Our family of 4 (two teenage sons) thoroughly enjoyed our wildlife cruise with host/owners Alan and Toddy. Their yacht is very comfortable and as long-time residents of Ucluelet, they are very knowledgable about the history and wildlife of the area. They told interesting stories and really sought out the wildlife. We saw black bears, Stellar sea lions, seals, bald eagles... More

water is a big part of visiting Ucluelet/ Tofino. our family did a kayaking tour in Tofino which was great but the wildlife tour takes you out farther out the ocean. we saw otters, seals and pods of sea lions...eagles nest as well. Al and Todi's boat is clean, their tour is well thought out, and lots of attention to... More

I absolutely loved our cruise, my family from Mexico also enjoyed the day on the water. Unfortunately no whales or bears but we were aware that may happen. It was still incredibly beautiful and we saw plenty of other wildlife. The hosts are super nice and the lunch was delicious.

My parents and I loved this excursion! The hosts are funny, kind, and the know so incredibly much about the area and the animals! The boat is quite spaceous and luxurious, and we enjoyed the gourmet lunch. We were very fortunate that is was sunny weather, so we could lounge on the front deck. Saw sea-otters with a baby, sealions,... More

Al and Toddy are the best tour guides on the water I think anyone could be lucky enough to go out with. They have worked here on the ocean for many years and are extremely knowledgeable and have lots of wonderful stories too. The boat is lovely and lunch was delicious. We were exceptionally lucky to see a young humpback... More

Our Archipelago outing was a delight from the moment we boarded. It's friendly and warm, hosted by a wife-husband team, Toddi and Al, who know the region intimately and combine natural lore with historical and recent stories while navigating to gorgeous spots. We saw sea lions, seals, bears, and more bald eagles than we could count. Birders will be delighted... More

The Broken Island tour - with or without Whales - is simply unsurpassable. 5 hours of scenery, wildlife, knowledge, anecdotes from a life at sea, good food and great company. Toddy and Al, the owners, tour guides and hosts for the day are by turns welcoming, courteous, caring and above all extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer every question. They... More
