We booked the trip in advance and as we were on the road with an RV, not exactly knowing which date we would be in Ucluelet, Toddy was very nice and helpful via email to confirm the cruise for us. The cruise itself was a...More

We started the tour with a sea lion sighting right on the dock and there was no shortage of seals, sea lions, bald eagles and seabirds on the rest of the trip. There were hopes of seeing bears on shore or an orca but the...More

Almost overwhelming. So much beauty, so much wildlife. All on board a superb boat with generous, knowledgeable hosts. If you've taken the trouble to get to Ucluelet you'd be crazy not to do this. It's worth every penny/ cent. The only regret you'd have is...More

We booked at short notice towards the end of the season. Nonetheless, Al and Toddy were able to find us a spot on an all day cruise around the Broken Group Islands. Toddy warned us beforehand that we were unlikely to see any whales but...More

Hello, We are now closed until early May. However there are other companies which stay open all year. They will run in November, weather permitting. You could try either Subtidal Adventures or Beachcomber Ocean Tours.

We see puffins the very odd time - when we do it is usually in the spring - but overall VERY seldom. It is best to assume we won't see any. There are always lots of other bird species to see though!
