We booked an Archipelago Wildlife Cruise when staying in Tofino and it was the highlight of our trip to the Vancouver island. In spite of trying to guess the best weather possible we were unlucky and had a rather grey and chilly day in August;...More

Al and Toddy welcomed us to their home: they live on the boat. It was immaculate, even though it was the last tour of the season for them. The boat is big, powerful, and maneuverable. They took us places to view wildlife which seemed impossible...More

We went to Ucluelet hoping to see the Broken Isles, and Archipelago Wildlife Cruise delivered. Pretty much the only other way to reach this most isolated part of the Pacific Rim National Park is to be both an experienced open ocean kayaker and wilderness backpacker,...More

This tour is meant to go and see as many wild animals as possible without chasing them around. We didn't feel like the usual whale or bear cruise because it gave us the feeling of beeing restricted to one species where there are so many!...More

Where should I start? Well, first of all I have to say, that we are returning guests. I wrote a five star review back in 2014 about this cruise. But now in 2018, many things seams to have been changed. After the registration you‘ll get...More

We researched the various boat options from both Tofino and Ucluelet - Archipelago seemed to offer a tour that focused on various wildlife (instead of just whales or bears), it also cruised through the Broken Group Islands AND the trip lasted nearly 6 hours -...More

Hello, We are now closed until early May. However there are other companies which stay open all year. They will run in November, weather permitting. You could try either Subtidal Adventures or Beachcomber Ocean Tours.

Hello everyone: We are a couple planning a 14-days vacation in the Canadian Rockies by the end of June. We will appreciate your feedback and suggestion regarding our itinerary. Is it doable ? are we missing something? :) --------- day-1: Arrive at Vancouver airport in the morning; rent a car and head to Revelstoke. Overnight in Revelstoke. day-2: Mount Revelstoke NP, Glacier NP, Yoho NP. Overnight in Banff. day-3 & 4: Lake Louise area, Moraine Lake, Bow Valley Parkway, Banff...More

Just a few quick comments: Days 3 & 4 will need some rejigging, as both Parker Ridge and Peyto Lake are on the Icefields Parkway, so you will see them on Day 5. That means you can spend some time visiting other destinations, like Johnston Canyon (on the Bow Valley Parkway), Lake Minnewanka, Bow Falls, Vermilion Lakes, and Tunnel Mountain. Day 8: Consider going to Kamloops (or Salmon Arm) via the Icefields Parkway again, if the weather was cloudy or rainy and so your views of the...More
