Sadly not what it once was, same as many riverside areas affected by the flood. Worth a stop if you are visiting the area, biking or hiking. Still way too many idiots crossing the barriers, risking their lives to get a picture.....
We loved this area so much from the backside on quad which is not an option now. We just had my husband's ash ceremony there - it was the best as we did it early on a Monday am - weekends are crazy busy.

Hi, yes there are public, dry toilets on site. The parking lot is flat and the first part of the pathway is very accessible for wheel chairs and walkers. There is a viewing area close by to see the falls comfortably. The upper view points are not suitable for walkers. Also, there are picnic tables and it's just nice to sit at them, relax, listen to the water, watch the river and birds. Have fun on your excursion!
