Unfortunately had a poor experience with this company last weekend. Manager was very rude to my family while we were waiting to ride with our young children. He offered a refund to us which we accepted and then left Copper Cayuse after not riding. Kids were disappointed. Have emailed them twice about a refund with zero response or apology. Can’t recommend - go elsewhere in Pemberton. Poor customer service!

I am sorry you had a bad experience with us, it is not what we like to hear or see as you can tell from other reviews. Since the advent of COVID-19 we have had to put in place strict protocols for the protection of all guests, including you, and our staff. It is the only way we can operate safely during these times. These protocols are clearly laid out in your confirmation , including wearing mask while on the property, unless you are on a moving horse, keeping helmets sanitized between rides and we do not allow strange dogs loose around the horses. all of this is for the safety of all concerned, so that they can enjoy their experience with minimal risk of exposure to COVID-19. You choose not to follow these protocols and were asked to leave. Not a great outcome for anyone, but necessary for the safety of the other guests in the area. You are welcome to return anytime as long as you follow the protocols. As for your refund, it was issued on the day of the incident in full to the credit card that made the original purchase as per policy. The ride was paid for by a different person, so you will need to check that person statements. Again sorry about all of this, I also wish that it had turned out differently Don

We had an amazing experience on the 2 hour horse ride. We were extremely lucky to be the only two riders with our guide, Bess. The scenery was wonderful and the horses were so well behaved and calm. Bess was a brilliant guide. We had never ridden before and she helped us to feel safe and have an extremely fun experience. We would 100% recommend this activity to anyone visiting the area and hope to return one day! Thank you Bess :)

My 12 yr old granddaughter and I went for a 1/2 day ride with Shelby as our guide. Shelby was fantastic and helped us feel comfortable riding up some steep trails to a stunning look out. She also took plenty of pictures to share with us later and give us lasting memories of this precious day. Our horses were amazing, strong, calm, healthy, happy and beautiful. The Mt Currie area has to be one of the most beautiful areas in the world. If you are concidering a horesback riding experience look no further.

Getting together with other people & horses to enjoy the trails in the forest
of BC.
The ride I had in June with CCO was fantastic! We rode up to the Look Out thru wonderful trails and beautiful scenery. There was a Belgium couple with me and they were amazed at the beautiful mountains and snow capped peaks!
They were also very happy to see a young bear climbing a tree as we pasted.
They had never seen a bear before.
We stopped at the Look Out for lunch and sat on a log overlooking the valley.
It was spectacular!!
Then continued our adventure with some more great trails.
The wranglers - Maddie & Michele were great guides and fun to be with.
Happy Trails at CCO

This place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and informative. Thank you for letting me know that a morning ride is better than an afternoon one. My kids rode a horse for the very first time today and they had the time of their lives. The highlight were the horses going into the water. Thank you to the two wranglers that took us for the ride today. Amazing experience and memories to cherish for a lifetime. We will definitely be coming back 😀

My friend really wanted to try horseback riding in Canada. I checked the review and rate on Tripadvisor, and I decided to take this tour company because of the 5 stars.
The tour leader was so cute and very friendly so my friend and I enjoyed it from binning to the end. We visited this ranch in October, and we saw beautiful flowered and trees! It was amazing. I highly recommend it. I rented a car and it took us 2 hours from Vancouver. It was a great 1 day trip from Vancouver.

The two of us went on the half day ride to Birkenhead Lake led by the lovely Georgia.
The ride through the trees was interesting and called for the use of balance and guiding skills as some of the paths were tight and took us under, around and through dense forest and up and down fairly steep paths. The horses were lovely and I give a special mention to my horse, Freddie, who I wanted to take home with me.
As there were only two of us Georgia asked if we wanted to speed things up a bit which we did. Georgia and my wife took off into the distance and, although my level is only a rising trot, Freddie took off after them. This was outside my comfort zone and caused Georgia and my wife much amusement which they failed to hide.
The sandwich lunch was great and the apple for Freddie allowed us to bond even more. He ate it quite delicately taking small bites.
Back at the camp we sat and chatted with Dudley, the owner, who was a real gentleman and a pleasure to talk to and listen to. Georgia is a lovely young lady who was informative and fun to be with and her love of the horses was plain to see.
I did have one regret. Having experienced the half day ride I wish that we could have done the 3 day overnight camping ride as well. This was an experience that we will talk about forever and that my wife will speak of, at my expense.
It would be impossible to give this trip less than a full 5/5 rating.

Amanda and David Thank you for your great comments which I will pass on to Gorgia, Dudley and Freddie. Freddie told me that he enjoyed the apple and would be happy to take you out on a three day trip as long as you supplied the apples. Don

I recently went on a 1 hour ride in Pemberton with Copper Cayuse and I had a really nice time! It was pouring rain, but I didn't care. Katie took me on the ride - she was a great guide and super friendly! I was the only person on the ride (due to the weather, I'm sure) so it was like a private tour to me. Katie gave me a helmut and a long jacket to wear so I didn't really get too wet at all.
The scenery is beautiful and my horse was great - it was a calm relaxing ride. I was just a bit nervous when we rode through the river, lol. Overall a really lovely way to spend the afternoon.

I totally recommend horseback riding here! The horses are so gentle and easy to ride! Our guide Tanya was friendly and taught us about the horses. We got to try different trails and even crossed a river! The horse trainer Brian helped teach us the commands and it was super fun! Parent with kids age 10 and 12. Recommend two-hour tour minimum. One-hour tour may be too short.

Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (age 13, 12 and 9) had an amazing 2-day 1-night camping and horse riding experience under the supervision and guidance of Don and Annie. We were all beginner riders but Annie made us all feel safe. The camp was luxurious with hot water and a dry toilet with no smell. The tents and sleeping bags were very clean and comfortable and we had the best sleep during our entire trip. We all had sore bums in the end but the memories will last a lifetime. Highly recommended.
