On our recommendation friends headed out on their first experience in Howe Sound! They loved the gear they were provided with, the welcoming and thoughtful guiding, and seeing vast amounts of wildlife and scenery. They raved about every detail of the experience. Next time we will go too!!

Whilst in Vancouver at the end of a three week holiday, we had pre booked a marine safari with Sewells marina. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to horseshoe bay, which was a good 20 minute drive, by Darren. On arrival at the marina we were provided with survival suits, which you wear over your outdoor clothes,... More

We took the Sea Safari Circle Tour and were thoroughly impressed. The scenery was stunning, our guide, Thomas, was very knowledgeable about the area, and we saw more harbour seals than I have ever seen in my life. This boat goes very fast. They provide big red suits to help block the wind and keep you warm, but it's still... More

A gem in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver. Next to the ferry terminal and situated next to the park, Sewells offers boat rentals and wild rides. We have experienced both and never been disappointed with the service, helpful staff and well maintained rental boats. We like to rent a boat |(motor) and potter up the inlet to watch the seals and... More

I took four Japanese exchange students on the Sea Safari while they were here visiting from Hiroshima. This was the best money we've spent in a long time in Vancouver. Well worth the price. The Zodiac boat was a great way to tour Howe Sound for two hours. Our guide took us to the Christie Island Bird Sanctuary where we... More

Incredible! Blew out the cobwebs after our long flight from the UK. Just a 20 minute drive from downtown Vancouver to the quaint Sewell harbour in Horseshoe Bay. Sewell’s is a 4th generation, family owned company that has been running tours out of the bay since 1931 and owns the whole marina. We did the two hour Sewell's Sea Safari,... More

We had a lot of fun with a 15´ boat we rented. Eveyrthing was fine, it is first come first serve so make sure to come early especially during the weekends. We came during the week and we had no problem getting the boat right away. We rented the boat for 2 hours and it was right enough to go... More

Wow! What a exhilarating way to see some of the islands around Vancouver. The tour was excellent, with a very knowledgeable guide. We saw many birds, including bald eagles and their nest, and seals. This time we didn't see any whales, but maybe next time. I would recommend this every time!!

We were really excited to go on the Sea Safari with our airmiles that paid for the tickets. We thought at least we aren't paying the actual ticket price to go and thought it might be a nice diversion from our trip. Our guide on the tour, Thomas, was actually really funny and seemed quite knowledgeable about the area. One... More

This review is specifically of the Sewell Marina Sea Safari tour. I admit, I only went on this because the whale watching tour I wanted to go on was sold out. This having been said, it was a great day. We were alone on the boat aside from another couple who were being dropped off at Britannia Beach (about halfway).... More
