The West Vancouver sea wall is always a wonderful place to walk. Beautiful ocean views. If you want a short walk or longer one it accommodates all. Mostly flat terrain. Lots of benches to sit and take in the beauty of the area. All ages love this walk.

So pretty and restful. We were lucky to have a clear sunny day in the middle of winter and it was such a beautiful spot.

This is a great walk- have actually seen whales in the sea beside the seawall ( not usual!) and lots of interesting apartment buildings on the land side to watch as you put in a couple of kilometres there and back. I take my dog- but dogs have to be trained to walk on a path beside their owners- separated... More

West Vancouver seawall should NOT be missed. This 2 kilometre walk is an easy walk for everyone. The scenery is breathtaking! Seabirds, salmon jumping, seals, and even whales are a common occurrence. Watch the cruise ships pass by during the season and watch fishermen and sailors enjoying the ocean and all its hidden delights. Walk with a coffee and stroll... More

I've been walking every Wednesday with a group of ladies for nearly 15 years. There were 16 of us originally, but a couple have passed away. Not everyone turns out each week, but we usually have 9 - 10 on hand. The walk is 6 kms in total from the Ferry Building in Ambleside to the Dundarave Pier, and back.... More

We have gone there many times over the years, Great place for big and small dogs, even off leash in areas. One can get so close to the big Cruise ships, you can see the smiles on the faces, as they head towards ALASKA. Paul
