Fabulous park with cool mornings
Aug 2019 • Solo
This parc has so much beauty, would have loved to stay longer. I went for a run or hike early in the mornings in August. The temperature is nice and cool if you go early.

Amazing
May 2018
Our tour took us high in the mountains where we were greeted by a beautiful village and church, its amazing how they built these structures so long ago, our tour took us through the small alleyways to see the Black Madonna, I'm not religious person but it was inspiring. The views out side were magnificent along with the tram ride up the hill.

Very beautiful sceneries in the countryside. You particularly recommend the villages of Ulldemolins and la Morera de Monstant, just at the boundaries of the park.

Ruta Morera de Montsant

Amazing views, medium-difficult path but it worths the effort because the nice walk through the top of the Serra major leverage the soul. The landscape seems a bit thirsty but in the middle of the route you will be copsed by the Clot del cirere that is a kind of oasis.

Hidden treasure

This nature park is one of the jewels of Catalonia: it overlooks one of the best wine regions and offers excellent walking in an untouched setting. There are walks for all levels and even after having explored the area for quite a few years now, we always discover something new. The park center in La Morera de Montsant provides maps and information about the many different routes.

You first must go to the visitors center and start your hike from La Morrera de Montsant! This little town which has been built around Montsant which is one of the 3 sacred mountains of Cataluñya: Montserrat, Montseny and Montsant...it is a beauty! The parc natural is maintained very well and the signs for the cami or trails are well marked. IN addition, the parc is maintained very well by the local forest rangers.

You gotta love a parc directed by an anthropologist! Molt be! Petons!
