If you appreciate the ocean, Cresent Beach is a "Must See". I grew up in Surrey/ North Delta, therefore we have ventured down to the ocean. I now live in Langley but still I went down to the ocean, just not (nearly) as often. The main thing that has stayed the same (you guessed it) is the OCEAN. Of course, the buildings have changed and the includes all the businesses (some just the owners have changed). However I do not pretend to know, I only observe. The only thing I am sure of was the "ROCKING VIEW" one possessed while walking along the kick-ass beach. The best of the best is a walk, on a warm summer night, at twilight with a polychromatic ocean and a warm breeze, stoking your very soul. It just does not get any better than this.

The wonderful thing about this beach is the length of shallow beach area. If you are picnicking or just want the kids to play and have a clear sight line the shallow waters are perfect when the tide is low (be sure to check tide times).
In the summer, there are usually life guards on duty at Sullivan Point. There is over a 2klm trail (in total both directions).
Tons of restaurants along the beach strip that offer every kind of food fair.
A great place in the summer to beat the heat and enjoy nature.

Crescent Beach is breathtaking, we go with the family during the day and enjoy a lovely stroll and all you feel is peace, the ocean breeze in the blue and silver colour water and most of the time the sun is out even on cold days...What a treat even when I am just on my own spa time for the mind and soul.

Went swimming here the other day and I can tell you that I will never be coming back here again. My sister, mother and I were all looking for a nice place to swim during the heat wave and after reading a review saying that this beach has the “clearest water”, we decided to come here. That person must have been talking about a different beach because the water at Crescent Beach was disgusting; not only was there seaweed all over the place and some weird red weeds at the bottom of the water that kept wrapping around our feet, but the water itself is not as clear as it might look in the pictures. It has a mucky green/brown tint to it and I was honestly surprised at how many people were swimming in it. It was also super crowded on the day that we went but even if it was completely empty, I don’t believe it would have made the experience any better. Super disappointed at how filthy the water at this beach was and not to mention, the air around the air smells like fish. None of us dared to put our heads in the water (or even ears) and the whole experience was just very unpleasant. I really don’t understand how his beach has such positive reviews. Also, this beach has a warning sign for swimmer’s itch, so be aware of that too if you plan on swimming there (which I don’t recommend). I really wish we had just picked a different beach rather than drive all the way here. The only positive about going to this beach was the view; I think if one were to come here at sunset, it might look quite nice. When I came home, we took a shower right away as we had sand from the water in our bathing suits.

Great place to take a stroll along the water, enjoy the sites and sounds from the ocean. COVID information displayed along the walkways. Vehicle parking is free, however limited during busy times.

Whether you are walking with your Honey, the Family or the dog Crescent Beach is a great place to go. Lovely broad paths along the beach. Lots of places to just sit and enjoy the ocean and it environments. There are a number of decent restaurants at the foot of Teacher Street. Blackie Spit park, yacht Club and off leash dog park. There are picnic and BBQ areas.
Crescent Beach is a great place to go for a drive or a day trip any time of the year.

Drove from another city to enjoy Crescent Beach sun set and walk the beach area. Found it very difficult to find a near park area for our small car. Waited and got one, but never know if going to be towed. Walked the beach path, but as Seniors wanted a few more benches to rest and have a view. First bench had rotten seating plank. Next very high off the ground and very old. Not very many! Grass is high growing along the paths, just wild. You have to climb up slightly to reach the high path to view the ocean. Grass should be lower and well marked paths. We did find the sun set beautiful, and Italian rest. was very good. Not many on the shore at our location.

I guess it depends on when you come here but usually on week days it is nice and quite place to visit. Not too crowded there are some places to grab a quick bite and a ice cream place that has been there for a very long time. I always take my kids there.

Some of the most relaxing times have been spent in White Rock. I've been going there for years from when my kids were small to now with my grandkids. Great family location, date nights with that special someone or just to getaway by yourself.

A great place to visit for a walk and a bite to eat. Finding parking can be a bit of a problem. We were there on New Year's day and it was packed. We found it easier to park by the cafes rather than the main car park by the grassed area/public toilets. Gorgeous views and lovely clean beach. Well worth a visit
