A very nice surprise

Stuck in a struggling mall, Cheryl’s Trading post is a treasure amongst the mundane. The staff is all family and they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have any questions about the First Nations jewlelry they sell, they can help. The name of the store is kind of reminiscent of tacky tourist places in Gastown, but the store is definitely not like that at all. On your next trip to White Rock, check this place out. You’ll be as pleasantly surprised as we were.

Irresistable

This is my favourite store, ever. It's full of beautiful range of hand-made items, with great stuff available from $20 or less to or much, much more. If I don't want to spend money, I just walk by...impossible to stop in and not see something! The perfect place for gifts, casual clothes, jewelry, soaps and lotions, pictures, art objects, and more. While I appreciate that most of the items are made by indigenous peoples (with the exception of the Pendleton stuff), these are beautiful, well-priced items that sell on their own merit.

Love this store

This store is my weakness. Every time that I have to go to Semiahmoo mall, I tell myself that I will not go in to Cheryl's trading post .then when I do go in, I tell myself that I will only look...needles to say that I always end up buying something special. There are so many wonderful artisans and wonderful natural products...I love the large selections of silver west coast jewelry..to authentic Cowichan knit sweaters native prints and carvings.
Great store to buy gifts.

Dear Debb2012, Thank you for visiting our Store location inside Semiahmoo Shopping Centre. Our Staff appreciate your love for authentic handmade Native Art from across the Americas. Our Staff are family and close friends that work hard to make your visit an enjoyable one while providing quality and variety for every occasion. While during Christmas and Holiday and Winter Season we will be open in December from 10am to 8pm. However, starting January 2, 2016 we will be taking a renovation break and in between times we will be booking shows for Art and Sale until Cheryl's Trading Post is resettled in the area.

good selection

Good selection of natural goods here from hand knit sweaters to moccasins to jewellery to natural soaps, etc. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and helpful -- but not pushy. If you want something different as a gift, this is the place to shop.

I visited Cheryl's because my mother was here from out of town and it looked like a fun "touristy" type of shop in which to browse. There were items from all over the world not just the Native products which are usually the emphasis in our tourist shops. The clerk was able to answer our questions on everything we asked about. I bought a beautiful native made leather jacket which I wore all over England. (To the astonishment of most of them)
