I went with my kids a little while back, reviewing it now as I'm looking for another unique trip and thought of this one. We went in February for the long weekend and did the half day dog sledding. The staff were very helpful as one took my eldest in his sled while I had my youngest. This kind of... More

This is the experience of a lifetime. Getting to dog sled is the stuff dreams are made of. We loved seeing how passionate the dogs were. We are originally from Texas so we were beyond freezing as the temp was -36F. I have poor circulation in my feet and before we started i was concerned I would not survive or... More

This was an enjoyable experience for myself, my husband and our two kids. They enjoyed being pulled by and petting friendly huskies (some named after Harry Potter characters) through the woods. The dogs are very well-cared for. Definitely something we would do again!

The day could not have been better weather-wise, with lovely instruction and a great learning experience for a newbie like myself. I had signed up for the half-day, the staff were wonderful and I can say I will be certainly back for a full day of dogsledding the next time!

Ryan was a lead dog-sledding guide and he made some tricky spring conditions into an incredible running experience for my daughter and I. The way they care for the dogs and teach you about the true spirit of dog-sledding was inspiring. That's what happens when they are the authentic dog sledding experience, with experience competing in 2 Ididarods and 1... More

Perfect day of dog sledding with Ryan and John. Everything was excellent and you could tell that everyone involved loved the animals and took great care to make our experience memorable. So glad we made it as the spring weather was uncertain but it turned out to be a perfect sunny day. I would highly recommend Winterdance anyone interested in... More

Our visit required a last minute change, due to forecasted rain. The staff at Winterdance were able to accommodate. The whole day was great with a very detailed orientation of what to expect and lots of info on the owners, the company and the dogs. Expect to be hands on with the whole event. If you are not planning on... More

We just did a 1/2 day morning tour with Mo and Mack and had a great time! The only complaint we have is that we wish it were longer! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and Mack and Mo both wore their "Sunday best" (i.e. suits and tie!). Mack was especially hilarious and made the introduction and information session very... My friends and I went on an amazing 1/2 day tour with skilled guides JF and Ashleigh, a few other groups of friendly visitors, and most importantly, dozens of gorgeous Siberian huskies, some of which are former Yukon Quest and Iditarod racers! We had an absolutely spectacular time on the sleds and will be back next winter for sure.

The area was a winter wonderland and I felt like I was in Narnia on a sled. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the dogs even more so. I was pleasantly surprised by how loving the dogs were and how excited they were to pull the sleds. I would recommend this to everyone. Thank you JF for the great... More
