Ao Manao is one of the tourist attractions in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District Prachuap Khiri Khan Province Away from Prachuap Khiri Khan town to the south about 5 kilometers. Ao Manao has beautiful views. The general public can go and relax. and provides accommodation for tourists Ao Manao is under the supervision of the 5th Airborne Division and was once a battlefield during World War II.

Our trip to Prachuap Khiri Khan included a crossing of the military base runway to Ao Manao. Such a beautiful place. Seats, food, jetski tow rides. Fabulous

The place where you could sit and cry all day.
Sep 2019
I love to be there when I want to be alone, to keep myself down from the busy thing. I went Ao Manao alone last year after i got broken heart with depression.

To sit and see the wave with slight wind make me calm and relax, I'll be there again soon.

Beautiful
Dec 2019 • Family
This has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. There's the lovely bay. The water is generally safe for children - there are no dangerous tides, jellyfish or sand flies. The sand is lovely with sea shells and there's lots of shade. There's plenty of beach chairs and some stalls but if you want to avoid people, go on a weekday and go further south. The place also has a dolphin monument. There's also a place with goats, deer and an ostrich - access is free but you can pay 20 baht to feed them.
We will be back next time in Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Love the place

On a normal day, you will get to walk at the beach and enjoy the place fully. Food from the stall served at your table is quite good. Should not go to this place when it is long week end.

Not as good as people say
Oct 2019
Ao Manao beach/bay - way too busy, have to sign in and show passport as the main beach is in a military compound (Thais don't have to do this). Too many local tourists, too much touting, too "Thai style" in that it caters to local tourism which, if you are an international visitor, is quite ugly as involves lots of vendors. Honestly, I would give it a miss and head to more secluded areas. I would have given it 1 star but the local town south of the beach was nice and authentic.
