The hike into the falls was really nice and flat for about 2 kilometres or maybe a little more. As you get closer to the falls the hike gets a little more challenging with a steeper decent. The falls are beautiful and worth the hike. You can walk behind the falls once you are down there but be careful as the rocks are very wet and slippery.

The trail to the Moul Fall is not very long and most likely for that reason one of the more popular in the park. A good choice for people who are a bit afraid of running into a bear :)

The trail is flat and leads to the top of the fall where you can take stairs down to the bottom of the falls. You can even walk behind the fall but beware you will be very very wet and debris might be carried in the water so... to be honest I think it's a fairly dangerous affair.

Moul Falls is definitely worth the 45-minute hike (2.7 km - one way). from the parking lot on the Clearwater Valley Road. They're beautiful falls as they are, but the best part for our family was to walk behind the falls and get absolutely drenched! We had a great time.

We drove up Wells Grey and were recommended to stop at Moul Falls. We did the trail in about 35min (they say it takes about an hour). It's a nice, flat walk (not a hike) through the forest and gets a bit steeper towards the fall (just a few meters, someone even did that part in flip flops and was OK). The fall was pretty but not WOW. Apparently there is a path that leads behind the Moul Fall but we weren't aware when we were there, so we can't comment on that. Helmcken Fall, a bit further down the road by car, is definitely much more worth seeing than Mouth Fall, but the walk to Mouth Fall is quite nice.

on the way plenty of evidence to moose population, footprints and poop! but no sightings unfortunately, Waterfall trail pretty easy to follow. the walk down to the bottom was a little slippery as it rained heavily the day before, but it is one of those things that is worth doing. go in the morning when the sun is shining like we did and you get an amazing rainbow!

Well worth the hike in and down, the falls lure you behind them and what a magical experience. Pack good boots and a rain jacket for the spray.

Moul Falls was a longer hike with more ups and downs but very nice. There is limited parking so I recommend going early as it is quite popular. The kids especially enjoyed the hike down and walking behind the falls.

Its about a 45 minute hike down to the base of the falls. Very beautiful, powerful waterfall. As you walk towards the back of the falls, it will feel very windy and water will spray you all over, the path is narrow but stable. It only takes an additonal 2 minutes to get to the back of the falls. Once inside the cave you get some interesting views.

These falls are only accessed by an approximate 45 min. - 1 hour, 2.9 km hike. The first half of the trail is a wide easy trail with the last bit being a narrow trail followed by a fairly steep descent down to the falls. But well worth the effort for those fit enough to tackle it. Very, very impressive and very cool to be able to walk behind the falls and actually through the falls at the right time of year.

The first half of the trail is double track and flat. You are not in the park yet. As soon as you cross the park boundary, the trail goes to single track and starts to head downhill. Not bad till you get to the top of the falls. You can turn around here and go back but if you are moderately fit and agile continue to the bottom. A steep and exhilarating scramble to the base of the falls where you can continue behind the cascading torrent for a truly once in a lifetime experience. This is why you did the hike. One of the best parts of the park.
