Very good information center with people willing to answer questions and help steer you on the trip. Also some great souvenirs. Unfortunately the native people's store at the bottom was closed, would like to have visited it.
If you are coming to Clearwater or Wells Gray Park for your first time, then stop in at the information center. The staff are friendly and helpful providing you with maps and useful direction. If you tell them kinda what you want to see or...More

Hello Gabriela, Hello Peter,
Thanks you for your questions- we are excited that you have decided to come visit Wells Gray Park! If you like pure, unspoiled nature, there are many things to do here. First, The Wells Gray Park Information Centre is on the highway where you turn off to get to the KOA. Stop in and bring the kids. While you are getting free maps and advice, they can play or read books in the kid's area. There are also displays and other fun things for kids to see. We even have a squirrel's nest! There is also an aboriginal cultural centre in the same building. Sometimes they have workshops which are fun for kids. The folks at the Information Centre will give you a map with a free elf guide tour of the park. Your kids and family will love the waterfalls and the easy to walk loops that we have in the park. There are two beautiful lakes which are easy to get to, one is quite close to your RV park and has a great kids play area. So come on into the Information Centre and we will help set out a program for your stay. We look forward to meeting you!
