Peace and quiet
Jul 2019
It was a peaceful provincial campground. There are lots of campsites to choose from ranging from sites requiring reservations to FCFS sites. The staff keep the campground very clean. Firewood does have a price for it, which is becoming more the norm. I really enjoyed being aboe to go out fishing on the lakes within the park.

Quiet.......too quiet.
Jul 2019 • Family
We stayed in Joachim loop, there are no power hookups so you would expect it to be quiet, wrong. Generators running all day and kids screaming seem like it’s very loud. We went for the fishing and never caught anything, never saw anyone else catch anything either. Kayaking was fun and the water is so clear.

Love this place!

Good fishing, although i scuba dive/swim/camp here instead. Everyone fishes here cause not many people swim in Alberta so its better for a guy like me. its not like going to a crowded beach, but make sure you have a floatie to get out a bit because the traffic at the docks can be swarming with kids... great swimming hole over all. choice of 3 lakes to swim in. water is pretty clean and campsites are spaced out well so your not annoyed with roudy loud neighbours

Beautiful Park
Aug 2018 • Family
We really enjoyed camping in Moberly. Glad we brought our own wood so didn't have to buy. I think the provincial parks are doing a huge disservice to forestry management by not having free firewood as deadfall is rapidly being picked up for use as firewood. It's just too expensive to buy especially as I like to cook over my campfire. I missed having a shower house but this park is off the beaten path and great for relaxing. No cell service - I didn't want to leave! My hubby tried some fishing but was not successful - these fish are used to seeing hooks.

Further then we would normally go, but it was well worth it. If you are looking for total quiet, no cell service, no services except power sites, this is the place. We would defiantly go back. Sites were clean.

Late summer weekend
Sep 2017 • Family
Great place for the family. Lots of trails that we hiked and biked around. Good fishing lakes to get a boat on. Easy firewood collection just outside of the park (need a chainsaw).

Nice sites and lakes
Aug 2017 • Couples
This was our second trip out to this campground. My husband loves all the different lakes to fish in. There are huge sites with good privacy. Only complaint is despite park staff giving handouts to campers there are still lots of dogs off leash. As a dog owner following the rules I find that stressful when a dog runs out into the road or your site.

I enjoy that many of the sites have direct access to the water and the trails are decent.

Gorgeous Campsites.
Aug 2017 • Friends
Campground is beautiful, and everything is layed out very nice. Hiking trails are nice, and privacy in sites is good. Lack of firewood for sale, and a hiccup with reservation made our stay a little uncomfortable, but there is no time for stressing while camping ;)
