Very bad service, unfortunately. As newbies we received zero guidance- despite being asked by many workers if we had snowboard/skied before- but with no follow up(so why ask??). We were never told about the advanced/beginners/intermediate sections - which is dangerous and is hazardous because we immediately went onto the advanced one and it did not end well. Very disappointed that... More

Got a four hour deal cost $115 NZD another $120 for the 3 of us to be fitted out in the hire gear. Had a fabulous time, staff are friendly and helpful. We had never snowboarded before but had an awesome time learning.

Our daughter was invited to her friend's birthday party. We decided we would all go (2 adults and 7 year old). Never been and will never go again. Huge queues to get in. Took us over half an hour to get in. $122 for 3 of us to get in with some hired waterproof trousers and gloves. Another 20 minute... More

So disappointed We came the other afternoon with friends and we got to snow planet, our little kids excited to go, there was racing on. 1/2 the slow was fenced off for racing Beginners slope was small compared to last time we were there and as we are beginners we had no where to go. The other side of the... More

Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff. It's a great place for giving young children their first snow experience, for adults wanting to learn as a group, or more experienced skiers/boarders to get some pre-season practise. The rental gear is a little tired and a bit pricey so would recommend sourcing elsewhere (possibly cheaper) if you don't have your own. The... More

Partner and I took our three children here, paid for 4 hours which was a good amount of time. The access gate on the Southern lift was not working correctly resulting in an un needed queue, the access gate on the northern lift had been bypassed. So the chip cards that we needed to purchase were useless ! Food was... More

Had a great time tubbing in the snow. Well maintained snow field and service area. Friendly staff. Very pricey, with hidden costs like having to pay for the Chipcards. We hired some gloves, boots and a snow suit for our 3 year old which was an additional $27, the velcro on the boots was done so we couldn't close them... More

Snow planet had its special night rider discount, a group of 12 of us went, some of us experienced and some beginner. On the night the staff seemed to be well over there shift and not very much interested to be there and do their job. The guys at the service area to hand over boards and boots seemed bit... More

We (me and my teenage daughters) took a private lesson with a lovely instructor, friendly staff, didn't think skiing indoors would be that great, but we had a blast. <$300 for skiing and clothing, and could even exchange a snow board for skiis. Definite FUN!! will return
