Disappointed when you use a voucher but end up paying more than if you didn't use it. Didn't use the extra items we DID pay for and would have done if we had known (which were part of the voucher). Also paid for additional hire gear! Despite enjoying the activity it makes you less willing to return when the customer... More

Had so much fun as a group of adults. Would love love to take my 9 year old son back. Kids over 5years would enjoy themselves. Snow Planet offers skiing, Snowboarding and tubes. All equipment can be hired, making it easy for people who can't bring or don't have snow gear. The reason a 4 was given and not 5... More

I took 2 14 yr olds and 2 10 yr olds to school holiday programme last week in the holidays...fabulous, very well organised and welcoming. It could have been a shambles but it was so well done. Kids happy to get up at 6.45 to get their early each morning to be first on the slopes, teachers were great and... More

Very bad service, unfortunately. As newbies we received zero guidance- despite being asked by many workers if we had snowboard/skied before- but with no follow up(so why ask??). We were never told about the advanced/beginners/intermediate sections - which is dangerous and is hazardous because we immediately went onto the advanced one and it did not end well. Very disappointed that... More

Got a four hour deal cost $115 NZD another $120 for the 3 of us to be fitted out in the hire gear. Had a fabulous time, staff are friendly and helpful. We had never snowboarded before but had an awesome time learning.

Our daughter was invited to her friend's birthday party. We decided we would all go (2 adults and 7 year old). Never been and will never go again. Huge queues to get in. Took us over half an hour to get in. $122 for 3 of us to get in with some hired waterproof trousers and gloves. Another 20 minute... More

Hi Rebecca d, Thank you for your feedback. Apologies that we hadn't seen your review until now. This definitely is not the experience we want our customers to have, so our most sincere apologies. June and July are definitely some of our busiest months in the lead up to the mountain opening so this would explain the queues. The damp... More

So disappointed We came the other afternoon with friends and we got to snow planet, our little kids excited to go, there was racing on. 1/2 the slow was fenced off for racing Beginners slope was small compared to last time we were there and as we are beginners we had no where to go. The other side of the... More

Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff. It's a great place for giving young children their first snow experience, for adults wanting to learn as a group, or more experienced skiers/boarders to get some pre-season practise. The rental gear is a little tired and a bit pricey so would recommend sourcing elsewhere (possibly cheaper) if you don't have your own. The... More

Partner and I took our three children here, paid for 4 hours which was a good amount of time. The access gate on the Southern lift was not working correctly resulting in an un needed queue, the access gate on the northern lift had been bypassed. So the chip cards that we needed to purchase were useless ! Food was... More
