My mom and I love to start each city with a tour - this one was great. The guides are cheery and full of jokes. It was a great way to see the town and get a sense of the major sites. They treat the horses quite well too.

This is a great way to see all the old, well-maintained houses in Lunenburg. We found it interesting to see all the bright colours and learn a little bit about the town and houses. However, we were expecting that there would be more history and facts than jokes for the price.

Took the tour in the evening after dinner. Was a nice way to see the old buildings of the town. The tour guides give plenty of jokes(lots of groaners ) making it a very light trip with out lots of details. Nice light hearted trip with Ernie pulling us around.

We were 4 adults and 3 kids(8,9 &12) and we all really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide was very entertaining and informative. We were able to barter a deal and the kids were able to go for free. The price is $20 per adult and $13 per child so we did save $39. The horses seemed to be well... More

We took a tour to check out Lunenburg and what a tour it was! Chris was our tour guide. She was very informative and very funny! She showed us things and gave us facts and details we never would have found if venturing on our own. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip and was the best... More

We lucked out and were able to just walk over and do a tour after supper. The cost was $20/adult and $10/kids, for 35min. My kids loved the experience and enjoyed resting their feet. The guide had many jokes and was friendly. I would have preferred more information about the building and history.

Our 2 year old was so interested in the horse ride so we went. Price was decent $20 per person , free for 2 year old). I wish there was more historical facts included instead of the constant corny jokes. Our guide was super friendly though and the man (owner?) who organized the trips was very pleasant as well. Overall... More

We had the luck to have Ruth as our tour guide on this wonderful carriage ride - best way to experience Lunenburg! Ruth was knowledgeable, could answer any question, and was super funny and entertaining. This ride is so worth it - thanks again Ruth!

We had the fortunate experience this summer to take the Trot in Time with the wonderful tour guide, Elijah. He was fabulous. His cheesy dad jokes are the best. Lunenburg is a beautiful spot on the Atlantic in Nova Scotia, and filled with wonderful history. Because it's so scenic, many films and TV shows have worked here. Stephen King's Dolores... More

We decided to use the service at the last minute and were very pleased that they had enough carriages that we did not have to wait long. The staff is great and the horses are very relaxed with people. We learned a lot during the tour even though we had been to Lunenburg any times before.
