Last week I saw the tired horse hauling the carriage of tourists around town mid-day when it was not fit for anyone to exert themselves due to extreme temperatures/humidity. The horse should never have been forced to work that day. :(

Loved loved Lunenburg. Do a carriage tour plus the ghost tour to see day and night. And to hear the riveting stories about this town. It’s one of the oldest in NA and the only one where The Whole town is rated as a UNESCO...More

They seem to go every 10-20 minutes. No, we didn't make reservations. There was a man with his son who was handicapped on our carriage. They didn't charge him for his son, I thought that was nice.
