Whonnock lake is a great family get away. The sand shore is nice on your feet. The water is warm. There are 2 docks to jump off of. Canoe and kayaking are a must.

Great place to visit when it’s hot. Festive family atmosphere. Great day in the Sun and water. Take your floating devices with. SUP or just a cheap blow up tube. Awesome

We love whonnock lake, the park was recently redone so kids love it. The beach area is perfect for young families lots of nice sand, dock, you can rent paddle boats. I always it's never over crowded.

Whonnock lake is a great place for that hot summer day. Lots of activities for kids, too. Also has a dog swimming area. Lots of parking.

Yes there is swimming and I do not think SUP is a problem. Non motorized boats are allowed.
