I was in the area for my weekend, and this appeared on the list of local attractions. So my I called the office, found out that we could have an English guide. Our guide Zack was awesome. Very animating, and very knowledgable. The site was spectacular. It exceeded all the expectations myself and my family had. Definitely worth a visit.

More than one hour underground in a very deep mine. The guides are very interesting (in French). Highly recommended for young and old. Bring a sweater and good shoes. Lots of steps.

+1 for our guide, Florance :) awesome visit in the underground mine ! Price at the little cantine for the lunch were super honest (price and food quality wise). The prospector tour is optionnal and more appreciated by the kids than the adults. I do recommand to go visit the mine !

I found out that this mine exists accidentally. We enjoyed pretty much everything, except the food on spot that was too expensive for what it was (canned Campbell's soup at $3.5 a bowl). Besides that, everything was enjoyable and our kids loved this activity. I can say that they are well prepared to assure you everything to spend great time.... More

If you told someone you had just been into a copper mine and had found it fascinating, they might well wonder what you had found to consume when you were in there. In fact, the tours through the old workings are absorbing for people of all ages and interests, though people with mobility issues should call to find if the... More

We arrived about 15 minutes later than planned (use google maps, not GPS). The woman at the main desk went above and beyond to allow my family a chance to grab a bite to eat, get our boots for the prospecting, and even drove us in her truck to catch up to the group! After the prospecting, we took the... More

I went with my 11yr old daughter and we both loved the tour. It was very interesting and the time went by so fast. The tour guide was very nice & spoke English which was great! Alot of interesting facts about how the mine got started. Would definitively suggest going to see. It was worth the money spent!

You have a choice to have your visit in English or French. We were in English group at 3pm and only had 6 people, while French group had more than 20... They recommend to call for reservation. The visit was very interesting and informative. I would definitely recommend it. Our guide was a young guy that was very open for... More
