Pretty place

Having grown up here I feel a certain amount of bias towards this place. I think the valley is a lovely place to be in the spring and early summer. Green and lovely. Not a fan of... read more

Peace River to me is like a safe haven. The luxurious scenery and the diversity of the people therein adds to its charm. Away from the city yet a little town with everything you need in it

We were visiting my son who was working in Peace at the time and it was a great trip. They have all the stores could ever need and the scenery is breathtaking!!

Peace River Tourism does a very inadequate job of promoting Peace River. We were attending a Funeral & when people found out we were staying at the Best Western, they all said what Best Western?? We mentioned that when you cross the bridge, this is all of the Newer Part of Peace River.

Having grown up here I feel a certain amount of bias towards this place. I think the valley is a lovely place to be in the spring and early summer. Green and lovely. Not a fan of winter though. Cold, snowy and dirty are not my favourite things! I always forget how lovely the street that travels along the river... More

My family drives up a few times a year for the scenery. Beautiful trails by the river, and some cool local history. Definitely worth the trip. Also some great restaurants, like River Rock and Su Casa.

Such a beautiful place. The people are kind and the scenery is spectacular especially in the fall. Be careful of the highway in the winter as it can be dangerous, but even with snow it is so pretty.

Peace River is the site of a gorgeous River valley. Every season has its special beauty, spring, summer, fall and winter. Great place to visit and a great place to live!

Great place to get a week's rest any afternoon. Quiet, contemplative, good to get away from just about everything except your thoughts.

If you're heading north to Peace River stop just before you get there and turn right on Highway 688, drive a few miles and stop at the 12 Foot Davis monument lookout. Here you can see the whole area of the city the valleys and the rivers. Its beautiful. Peace River is not a large city but it is the... More
