The area around this town is relaxing, noce views of the river as you drive thru. Lots of plaques throughout the town describing the history of Peace River.

Peace River is pretty in the summer, winter not so much. Be prepared for 2 years of construction on the new bridge and water and sewer line repairs.

We were visiting my son who was working in Peace at the time and it was a great trip. They have all the stores could ever need and the scenery is breathtaking!!

Having grown up here I feel a certain amount of bias towards this place. I think the valley is a lovely place to be in the spring and early summer. Green and lovely. Not a fan of winter though. Cold, snowy and dirty are not...More
