A unique recreational campground located on beautiful provincial park property on the shores of the Madawaska River. De la République Provincial Park is easily accessible from Route 2. The campground has over 150 campsites, 100 of which have electricity. Rustic shelters are also available for those looking for a camping alternative. Laundry facilities are available on site. The park features scenic hiking and cycling trails, 2 volleyball courts, a fully equipped outdoor playground, 2 tennis courts, horseshoe pits, boat ramp, picnic sites and shelter, a playroom for indoor activities and a heated swimming pool. Enjoy an evening of local talent as you tap your feet to the sounds of l'Acadie des Terres et Forêts en Fête, a lively show celebrating Acadian history though song, dance and theatre. The show is presented in a roofed outdoor amphitheatre on park grounds. Step back in time at the Antique Automobile Museum as you marvel at mint-condition vehicles, or savour the sweet perfume of the magnificent New Brunswick Botanical Garden, a truly peaceful oasis located on more than 8 ha (20 acres) of the park's land. Also on site are a boutique, poolside terrace and convenience store. With so much to see and do, it's the perfect place to spend a few days! Le camping du parc provincial de la République est un terrain récréatif exceptionnel situé aux abords de la rivière Madawaska, facilement accessible à partir de la route 2. Choisissez parmi plus de 150 emplacements de camping, dont 100 avec électricité, ou passez la nuit dans un de nos abris rustiques. Une fois installés, profitez des services et structures du parc. Sentiers pédestres, pistes cyclables, piscine chauffée, 2 terrains de volley-ball, terrain de jeu extérieur complet, 2 terrains de tennis, jeu de fers, rampe de mise à l'eau, nombreuses aires de pique-nique, abri de pique-nique pour groupes, buanderie et salle de jeu pour activités intérieures. On trouve également sur place un dépanneur et une boutique, ainsi qu'une agréable terrasse à côté de la piscine. Le parc provincial de la République regroupe aussi plusieurs attractions. Tapez du pied au son de la musique de L'Acadie des terres et forêts en fête, un spectacle local à grand déploiement présenté dans l'amphithéâtre extérieur couvert. Admirez de belles carrosseries au Musée des voitures d'autrefois. Refaites le plein d'énergie en humant le doux parfum des plantes et des fleurs qui ornent le magnifique Jardin botanique du Nouveau-Brunswick, véritable oasis de paix qui s'étend sur 8 ha. Il y a tant de choses à voir et à faire pour toute la famille au Parc provincial de la République... l'endroit rêvé pour des vacances amusantes et sereines!

What a gem of a provincial park! Sites are nice, fairly private, clean. Facilities are very good. Only complaint was when doing laundry it was a fair hike to walk with your wash to laundry mat from parking area.Lovely pool...everything was well maintained & staff...More

Yes there is cabins to rent. But I am not sure about trailers. Beautiful park though.
