We stopped by while visiting and I will admit - it was like no other visitor center we have visited.

We were promptly met upon entering and were given plenty of information on things to see and do in the area. Normally in most visitor centers you have to pry information out of the employees - this guy was a wealth of knowledge and set the bar high for every visitor center I have ever visited.

Very friendly and helpful staff to direct us to points of interest in the area. And the building could tell stories of travelers of years past. Easy to access and plenty of parking when we visited.

This is a very good stop not far from the main highway on-route to New Brunswick. Edmundston has plenty of lunch options and a few quiet parks with free parking available. Parc du Petit-Sault is near the Visitors Centre and makes for a pleasant short walk with gorgeous views across the river.

EVERYTHING is in FRENCH with little consideration for those who only speak ENGLISH,
I was not very IMPRESSED and even the WAL-MART most signs are is FRENCH only so you cant even figure out what the price is for what you want to buy.
I guess they FORGOT most visitors are not from QUEBEC !

This Office de Tourisme Edmunston Madawaska was amazing ! They had lots of pictures of the town in the past. Moreover, it is located at the former train station, making it even more attractive.

There was only one person here and she did her best to give us suggestions what to visit next. My wife and I liked the idea of exploring the whole town. We left with a smile and enjoyed the town. That was cool!

Worthwhile to visit for instructions!

We stopped at Edmunston on our way through New Brunswick. This place is like a park. We enjoyed our time there.

You can walk the entire loop by going through one end of the trail and going to the bridge.

We went at night and also during the day. The place is safe.
