Typical BC Provincial Park. Clean level sites. Well separated. Most with easy access. All may not be suitable for tenting. Most are for 'dry' camping only. The access is easy from the highway. Most sites are heavily shaded. Close to the neat little town of...More

Mount Fernie provincial park is a top notch campground. The sites are so deep and secluded and the campground itself is nestled into the forest. Clean and great facilities with wash stations. Highly recommend

The usual beautifully designed and kept BC Campground, built in 1959. Great hiking all around the park. Check the website though and book ahead, this is a very popular campground. During peak months June-Sept, there is a 7 day maximum stay.

We made reservations early in the year and were able to get a site. They are large, clean, and quiet. It's a perfect place to relax. We made quite a few visits down to Lizard Creek. Steve, the park operator was very friendly and helpful,...More

This park and the campsites here are absolutely perfect for families with kids who want a “true” nature camping experience as they are just private enough that you don’t bother your neighbours, but not so secluded as to frighten little ones who are new to...More

Pretty little campground situated in the perfect location to access the hiking and mountain biking trails. Stayed 2 nights in the middle of the week so likely was a quieter stay then on the weekend.

We hiked Old Growth Trail and it's easy hiking/mountain biking trail. Nature is very nice and you will be pleasantly surprised with beautiful view of the Rockies.

Lots of little hand made benches and hidden gems along the path, didn't run into a lot of wildlife, if any. Great views of the Three Sisters and easy to access. Wouldn't recommend for beginners haha.

Visited the over flow parking and went down to the bridge and creek. The wedding pictures will turn out beautiful as the lighting was perfect, sounds were calming and the back ground was stunning. Beautiful place.
