I have been to the Pinnacles many times on my bike and they are quite interesting. One negative I have noticed is that tourists in large motor homes or trailers just have to drive by at there is not enough room for them to park!! They could pull in at the next right (Stubbington Rd) and turn around and park on the edge of the road and then walk down to the park entrance. BC Parks should get their act together and expand the pathetic parking lot!!

Was looking for a quick hike to do in town after work and this was perfect! Parking isn't very good, there is a very limited amount of space but after I arrived I ended up being the only one on the trail after 5 min. There's a sign about cougar's and bears so bring bear spray just to be safe especially if you are by yourself. Trail is well marked and the views are incredible. I was a bit let down that there would be no inclined hiking, most of that was done from the drive up. It took about 7 min to reach the Pinnacle viewpoint and then another 10-15 min to reach the end. Nice short hike

Pinnacle Provincial Park leads to views of geologic sights including hoodoos and columns formed 12 million years ago. Signage is nearly non-existent and what there is is tiny. Nice area and good view, but lack of proper signage made for a tense walk. Use insect repellent.

There was only one highlight as the pinnacles are virtually obscured by the local fauna, if they want this to remain as a place to visit ; trees need to be topped or cut down. The walk from the car park to the perimeter fence is less than 1km . Turn left at the notice board for the shortest route, then you need to walk about 200 mts to the right to see anything of the pinnacles. Our lasting experience though, was as we returned to our car we turned a corner and a black bear was stood in the middle of the track, fortunately it looked , jinxed, then wandered into the undergrowth.
This attraction will be totally obscured in the next 5 to 10 years !

It's a short drive (10 minutes) out of Quesnel but well worth the time. It's low key and the path wanders for a bit. But stick with it and you'll find yourself at the edge of a bluff/precipice with great views of the town, the valley, and some hoodoos. A simple, short, rewarding adventure.

Please bring your bear spray etc as there are bears and yes Cougars . One stalked my friend but gave up . Lots of hiking trails but if you bring your dog to walk with you please clean up after them and dispose of their toilet doings. Keep them on a leash is a must or you could have a bear etc chasing you etc . Beautiful p,ace to visit

Wonderful hike and the view of the pinnacles and mountains is great! Fairly easy walk so would be good for a casual hike or a visit with families and children. Beautiful place!

We visited here on a vacation day when staying in Quesnel, but wanted something interesting nearby to do. This is free and a great path for children to burn off energy. There are stunning views and it is an easy hike for everyone. We were able to push the stroller for the whole hike.
