About
Nestled in Sinclair Canyon, Radium Hot Springs, located in British Columbia’s Kootenay National Park, includes a hot soaking pool and cooler swimming pool. Whether you are visiting the local golf courses, skiing, snowboarding, or just passing through, the Radium Hot Springs are not to be missed! Radium Hot Springs’ mineral water is uniquely odourless and clear, making this the perfect place for a relaxing soak. Gaze up at the rock cliffs see if you can spot one of the bighorn sheep that make this canyon home. The kids will enjoy swimming and diving in the cooler swimming pool (29C). There is so much to enjoy year-round, including nearby hiking and walking trails, picnic areas and all of the amenities of a full-service town. Capacity is limited to ensure lifeguard to patron ratios can be maintained. Reservations are not available. Please arrive prepared to wait outside (wait times may exceed an hour) and visit our website for trip planning and COVID safety information.

Similar to local public pool
Oct 2021 • Solo
I was expecting more from this experience. It was essentially a giant hot tub outside. I personally wouldn’t recommend it to any friends or family. You could probably get the same experience from your local public pool.

A must see and do
Sep 2021
Clean, well organized and beautiful. An all around must see and do when in the area. Besides, it is very cheap to get in, including he fact that a Park pass is not needed if just visiting the pools.

Arrived at the hot springs at about 6.30 pm and there was no wait to get in. Very organized facilities and the nature around the pool is gorgeous. Highly recommended :)

Lots of fun and a relaxing time
Aug 2021
We went to Radium and stopped here for a few hours. Glad we did. We had to wait about 45 minutes due to capacity limits but it was worth the wait. Only $7 for an adult which includes a token for a locker. Both the cool pool, which is heated and the hot pool are clean and well maintained. There are lifeguards on duty at all times and they do a very good job. They are attentive and take their jobs seriously. The facilities were clean and well maintained as well. We had a great time and I would recommend stopping here if in the area. Free parking, snack bar, Spa and the staff is very nice and helpful. Looking forward to returning again.

Relaxing!
Aug 2021 • Friends
We came for a late afternoon soak/swim and it was a nice experience. Lots of parking areas with a walkway under the highway so you don’t have to try and cross it.
Waited about 20 minutes to get in which wasn’t bad at all. Inside the facilities were clean and well maintained.
The water was very relaxing in both the warm and cool pool.
Not sure I’d come again as it is a hyped up attraction for a basic pool experience, but for the price (less than $10 for an adult entry), it was an affordable & enjoyable way to spend some time.

* Also - last entry is 7:00pm as they close at 8:00pm. And this is in fact stated on their website, unfortunately another reviewer couldn’t find this info.

Enjoyable Day Trip!

Clean facility, well-organized especially with COVID-19 protocols. Enjoyable as solo visit or with family. Arrive before opening time to avoid long wait times.

Not HAPPY
Aug 2021 • Family
No where on the website does it say that you need to come 60 min before they close for last entry. We drove 5 hours out of our way. Into a 10 hour trip with a 10 month old. To come to the door at 7:02 pm and the doors are locked. Very thoroughly unimpressed. Maybe you should make sure it’s very apparent that you have to be here an hour before so you can go swimming till you guys actually close.

Family of 5 national park only $40
Jul 2021 • Family
My family of 5 (ages 6,7 and 13) throughly enjoyed this stop. Not really a long wait given the covid restrictions. Cool pool tends to get a bit crowded but the warm poop is very large with an abundance of room. Front counter staff was very nice and helpful. Large change rooms with many private changing booths. A stop that everyone in the family will enjoy with stunning mountain views at every turn
