Nothing fancy. Large parking lot and a wee hike through a meadow and fruit trees to the edge of the land, and then a little bit of a challenging walk (for those with mobility issues- nothing for the able-bodied) down to the beach. Shallow, cold water, popular with kids and dogs.

What a beautiful little beach! Great picnic areas along the trails too. Unfortunately it's described as accessible which it certainly is not. Unless you don't mind sitting in a field and not going to the beautiful beach. The CRD really* needs to do some work around the trails to the beach head. Fun for an afternoon's outing

Plenty of parking, a lovely walk through an old orchard and meadows, to a nice brach & pretty views.

got here and walked to the adjoining beach , it has a sandy area for paddling in and access to a hike to other rocky beaches that are great for just watching waves or climbing around on rocks

All of these beautiful things await you on your journey! Walk the Coastal Trail to get the full experience of going from ocean level to the top of the cliffs then back down to the beach at the end. Simply beautiful!

I have fond memories of climbing around here when the Browns owned and farmed it. We kids were set free and only came back for food! It's another jewel in the crown of the Sooke Region.

Aylard Farm is one of the entrance to East Sooke Park on Vancouver Island , one of the many parks in the southern tip. Try the coastal trail, pack a picnic, a memorable experience.

We love this spot, it has beautiful views and a nice path, lets you stretch your legs and give the dogs and kids a good walk too. Beaches on both side of the path and you get to experience wildlife like no other...sea otters, sea lions, a variety of birds and the odd whale. Lots of fishing boats motoring by... More

Many trail options. Gorgeous scenery. We saw sea lions! The coast trail requires a lot of climbs and scrambling over rocks and roots. Out in the boondocks. Don't come here late in the evening or you may get lost in the wilderness!

One of the prettiest beaches on the planet. Scenic view of the Olympia mts. across the straight. Crystal clear water and beautiful sand.
