This was a comfortable ride across the st. Lawrence, but it was very foggy, it took about 1hr and 15 minutes to get to the point of seeing the whales and baby belugas, there is a cute shop on the ferry, also a canteen,it was very windy, so please take a warm jacket with you.

The trip takes about 70 minutes during which you can relax inside or go out to watch the water go by. Snacks & drinks are available on board. The down side is the times are limited and booking is not possible so you need to arrive 90 to 120 minutes prior to sailing.

We showed up 15 minutes before they left and we were able to get on. We thought we would have had to wait for the next ferry. It has everything on board you need. WiFi, food, bar, general sitting area, souvenirs, snack bar. In and out with a car was a breeze.

While camping in the area, we were looking for something to do since they were calling for rain most of the day. Decide to take the return trip on the ferry. Very reasonably priced. We had looked into whale watching tours but opted for this and took a chance we'd see some marine life. Saw a few seals and belugas... More

This ferry trip takes a little over an hour to travel the route in a sedate manner. The cars are loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently and with the minimum of fuss. The ferry toddles along gently and you can see many seabirds, a few seals and a number of beluga whales on your journey - depending on the time... More

Nice clean facilities when waiting for the ferry. Little souvenir shop close by. A few restaurants right by the parking. Saw a least 10 belugas for over an hour , while we waited. On the ferry you can stay inside, but if you brought a warm jacket you can go outside. Fun to see even more belugas. Restaurant looked good,... More

This is a comfortable way to cross the river. The staff was very good. Food and drink as well as snacks are available. We didn't check the schedule and arrived about 2 1/2 hours before the next sailing. While waiting we used the radio and other electronics and managed to run the battery down. Ferry staff rescued us with a... More

We arrived the night before with our RV and stayed at the campground adjacent to the waiting area. Got up super early and got in line. However, the tide wasn't high enough for us to drive on, so we had to wait for another ferry. Luckily there was lots to do around the ferry terminal while we waited. We grabbed... More

The ferry from Saint-Simeon to Riviere-du-Loup was a lovely surprise; comfortable, clean, and spacious - with lots of interesting rooms (and a little gift shop area as well). The ferry lineup wasn't too bad; we arrived about half an hour before sailing and had 30 or so vehicles in front of us. I never realized how quickly the St. Lawrence... More
