Built in 1837 as the Registry of Deeds, The Crocker Hill Store, the creation of artist Steven Smith and his wife Gail, is an oasis for those with a passion for gardening, birding and art. The shop features Steven's Birds of Crocker Hill print series inspired by the wild birds that visit his garden. Steven's copper vine lamps drape over pine cupboards filled with Gail's potpourri, British gardening tools, quality chocolate by Rogers, dried herbs and imported soaps - all products that the Smiths love. Nellie and Abigail, the English Setters greet visitors as well as oversee the pet section located in the building's vault.

This store is wonderful inside and out. It's owned by a wonderful couple. The husband landscapes the outside so beautifully it would make a zen garden look shabby. The store inside is an eclectic blend of unique personal care items, gardening tools and pet care...More
