This is a great whale watching boat to go out on. The captain is local and knows the waters really well. There were 2 marine biologists on the boat with us and a touch tank and refreshments. There is an upper deck which is the best spot to be. We saw mincke whales, porpoises, seals, jellyfish and a bald eagle.... More

First time going whale watching and will definitely be doing this again with Island Quest Marine. Excellent crew and very knowledgeable about the area. The captain made sure we all got to see the whales, dolphins, and seals by turning the boat in all directions and did not rush. Three hours went by so quick. Thank you again and can't... More

We recently visited the lovely town of Saint Andrew, NB and stayed at the beautiful Algonquin Resort. We decided whale watching was a must while visiting so booked Island Quest Marine. We were very lucky and saw many harbour seals, a bald eagle and two Minke Whales. The weather that day was beautiful - pure sunshine and a very calm... More

Ok, not sure what Captain others had but on the day I went, the Captain barely spoke... spent his whole time chatting with some other fisherman from NS... we saw two Minke... which I guess if you have never seen a whale is exciting.. but after being on a whale watching trip with Garry Henkel at Aboriginal Journeys in Campbell... I took my children on the Jolly Breeze tour last year..and as great of a time as we had with them..(Jolly Breeze was a unique fun experience don't get me wrong..we had a great time with them last year)..but this tour with Island Quest Marine today (we took the 1:30pm tour..it was sunny and perfect!) far surpassed that wonderful experience... This tour is excellent from the moment you meet the tour organizer to the cruise team to the homeward bound refreshments and sea biology session. Just awesome! Capt. Dan and marine biologists Caelin and Hannah made the cruise very enjoyable and an informative learning experience. Apparently we had a very good day of multiple fin and minke whales, porpoises, terns,... More

This was a good tour for our family of 4 during our trip back to home to Ontario from PEI but we did have one negative experience with Island Quest (at the bottom of the review) We selected Island Quest because of our research on TripAdvisor. We were there on Aug 18 at the 1:30 timeslot. The boat ride is... More
