We went out on the tall ship in search of whales. We managed to see two whales, a lot of sea lions, and various birds. The scenery is beautiful and being on the water gives you a different perspective of the area. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a full ship so the staff made sure they walked... We booked with the new zodiac boat tour, mostly a fun ride, rather than whale watching. The boat is fast and comfortable with shock absorbing seats. They provide full body suits if you want. I asked if we could ride back to see old sow and the captain was very accommodating. This kept my teenager way more interested than taking... More

This ship was well run. The crew was friendly and proactive in pointing out interesting things about the islands. There were activities for smaller children (face painting, an area below the deck, a touch tank). There were even toilet facilities! The time passed very quickly on this boat (and we were out for a good 3 hours plus).

If you've gone whale watching in the past and seen whales, prepare to be underwhelmed. We did see distant dark formations peaking above the waves on a few occasions. That was the extent of our sightings. We were seated at the back of the vessel near the 25 year old captain. From our spot, it was hard to hear the... More

We are happy that you saw a whale on your tour! It is a little more difficult to see them when the seas are choppy but glad we could show you these wonder creatures of the sea. The captains are well experienced, with higher Transport Canada Training than is actually required and this captain has worked for us for five... More

I've never been on a sail boat before. This is why I chose this adventure. While making my phone reservation, I was warned that mid-June wasn't the time of year to see whales, so to only expect seals, birds, and beautiful views. "BUT IT'S ON A SAIL BOAT, RIGHT?" WARNING #1: dress warm. Like you're going on an Arctic expedition... More

We did not see much wildlife in the waters between St. Andrews and the East Quoddy light on Campabello Island. But the breeze was fresh, the sunset and sea were beautiful. Just the most pleasant way to spend a sunny evening you can imagine.

Jolly Breeze whale watching is a fantastic time for all! I took my 8 year old daughter along on a tour bus day trip down to Saint Andrews whale watching. The crew aboard the Jolly Breeze were fantastic, and every informative. I look forward to going back again with the rest of my family! ps- The soup they served was... More

I went on the Jolly Breeze with a group of family and friends and we absolutely loved it. We saw huge whales and porpoises up close. The staff is super friendly and informative The kids loved the touch tank and held starfish and other sea creatures in their hands. We were served delicious soup which warmed us up since it... More
