Avoid this company. We took the 2 - 1/2 hour lost ships cruise out of Gananoque. To start, we left 20 minutes late, as the entire boat waited for a family of four who arrived late to board and park their car. That was not the problem. COVID protocol dictated that masks be worn by all at all times. This was announce at departure. It was never enforced. 15 minutes into the trip it started to rain. All passengers came inside. Chairs were moved around and grouped in various areas, the majority of passengers did not wear masks as instructed. 2m distancing was encroached upon… the staff did nothing to correct this. Several of the crew were even “chin riding” there masks. I felt unsafe, and am isolating now after being in an enclosed public space with 100s of strangers, not following rules. Not that we expressed our concerns to the company immediately on disembarking, and the refunded us immediately, but that was not the point.

Don’t get me wrong the views are amazing. Especially if you like nice houses like I do! Thing is I thought the staff could’ve done a better job with making sure people were social distancing. People couldn’t keep their mask on and couldn’t keep distance from other families. We got up to go outside in the front of the boat to take a picture and coming back in people had taken our seats. Shouldn’t people be asked to keep their original seats as they’re not being sanitized between guests?! You couldn’t really hear the movie about the ships over kids running around and screaming. The tv in front wasn’t working so you had to turn around every time. I was very disappointed. Bring a sweater because it gets cold at times!

We did not think this cruise was worth the money! You could not hear the narration and a TV was not in our seating area so we could not view any televised narration. The canteen has very limited food. Overall we were less than impressed!

Great tour, we expected to see the shipwrecks in plain sight (or through the boat like other similar cruises) but that wasn't the case. Instead they showed us the images on a TV screen. Tour is pre-recorded so you have to sit somewhere you can hear the audio. Canteen was good and the food was fresh. Length of the tour and the quality of it is 100% but they can surely do a live tour (maybe increase the price too ;). Definitely visit their gift shop which is just across the street for souvenirs. Ladies in the shop are very nice and the merchandises were quite cheap too. We ended up buying extra. Overall - great experience and definite go-to while you're in Kingston or Gananoque.

We chose this tour thinking that we would have an opportunity to see shipwrecks. That is not the case. The tour guide is pre-recorded and there is a screen with images of shipwrecks but no actual shipwrecks can be seen. I thought maybe this would be a glass bottom boat but no. We could have skipped this tour entirely. We got much more out of the kayaking tour we went on which provided details of the area and we actually saw part of a ship that was sunk in 1920. If you simply want a tour of the area this is what you will get.
