Located in the beautiful Eastern Townships, the Cep d'Argent vineyard offers quality wines and numerous memorable touristic tours. Enjoy the exceptional view on the Magog River and on the vines' field where the hard work from the Scieur brothers paid off magnificently. Le Cep d'Argent, lovechild of two passionate French wine growers, is the oldest vineyard in the Estrie region.

As a part of tour for eastern township, I tasted their wine as a local producer of 120,000 bottle a year as they said...their wine is ok but we didn't have ice wine or champagne tasting in the package and their prices to buy at site was the same as SAQ with just a dollar discount which I would buy... This was a fun tasting. It's not Napa, but it's worth a visit. Sad they don't include the ice wine in the tasting. The staff is friendly and the facility is good.

I went there 15 minutes before one o'clock asked for the tour and they only gave it in French, not as stated in their website, then bought a pass for the tasting and they told me to wait until 1:30 pm, went at that time and they said it was at 1:45 pm. Staff that work there don't know what... More

My mother and I stumbled upon this winery on a bike ride around the area. The staff entertained us personally for over an hour. The owners even came out to introduce themselves and see that we had everything we need. The wine was lovely and the "champagne" (or sparkling wine) tastes like the real thing. The museum in the back... More

With only a little time on our hands, we visited this winery late in the day. They still made us feel welcome and provided excellent insight into the wine growing region and the quality of wines they produce. Our only regret is that these wines are not avaialble in Alberta.

We visited this vineyard while spending the weekend in Magog. I was quite frankly looking forward to seeing this vineyard (as it is one of the biggest in Quebec). On arrival it wasn't very welcoming. Felt too comercial to me. The pictures on the brocure did not look like this place. The balcony was tired and no seating was available... More

I had a poor experience, I had called a week in advance to find out about tours and was told noon but was not told that there was an English tour at 10am even though I asked to speak to someone in English. So we missed that, then called again to find out if you could do tastings without a... More

We had a wonderful visit and tour. We called ahead to be sure to take a tour in English. When we arrived and identified ourselves we were welcomed. We toured the vineyard and learn about growing grapes and pressing them into wine. We went inside and we saw the fermenting tanks, aging barrels, and learned about white, rose, red, ice... More

We researched this place in advance and visited en route to the Saguenay. The tour and tasting were both terrific. Best of all, we purchased a mixed case (red, white and rose), part of which we enjoyed during our travels. We shared a bottle of the winery's award winning white with our fly fishing guide, who usually only buys wine... More
