just spent two weeks checking out all the Pacific beaches. most don't have spa or 5 star resorts. just nice place to relax or surf. but beware most beaches in michoacan have strong riptide currents. Nexpa is nice, away from it all. not many places...More

Nice beach. great surf, the problem I can see there is that needs an authority that controls the drug use in the small cabins at the hotels, and the garbage at the beach

There are no beaches in Morelia. NONE! Morelia is an inland city with many charms BUT NO OCEAN AND NO BEACHES.

Nexpa's a great place to visit, an essential stop if you're a surfer. Nice camping at Chicho's. Not the greatest swimming, though with baseball sized rocks thrashing around at the tideline. The lagoon is beautiful, but a little contaminated... There's much better swimming at Arenas...More
