We had our Jeep tour today and Yongki picked us up from our hotel on time. He was helpful in giving us guiding instructions on what to expect and the timings for the coming hours. It was good to hear all the details again as we were still half asleep due to the early rise for the tours.
Once we reached the assembly point for the pickup vehicles we had a another member of his team who drove the Jeep up the mountain and it was such a thrilling experience. The air was so cool and chilly and hands literally felt almost frozen.
The guys from this tour agency are really genuinely helpful and nice and made us feel comfortable for the entire duration of the trip. Worth the experience today😁

Please. do. this. in. Bali! Instead of hiking up the volcano, take a jeep up! It's effortless although the route up is super bumpy and a little thrilling. We booked through KKDay and went with our guide Sibon (not sure how to spell) as his first group of customers. He is really friendly and fun to be around with. The pickup was 3am for us and we reached there at around 545am - no hike at all. After watching the sunrise, we toured around the Lava Rocks and Sand and visited a coffee plantation. Don't miss this!

We took the sunrise excursion to Batur in 4x4 with Bali Volcano Tour.
Everything is well organized. Check-out around 5am, about thirty minutes later, after a climb in the dark, we arrive on the site (of course we are not the only ones).
In the meantime 6:15 am, a breakfast was served on the roof of the 4x4: banana sandwich, boiled eggs, chocolate bar and hot drink.
Then shooting photo from all angles and finally beautiful sunrise.
The sky was clear and we could enjoy a great view.
Nothing wrong in terms of organisation as far as we are concerned.

The trip started off super fun. Our jeep driver (Wayan Sugi) was amazing. Even though he apologized for his bad english, he explained so much and even asked if we wanted to put our music in the jeep. Loved him ❤️ everything other than Wayan sugi was a rip off. Our driver (arta) took us to a village and a waterfall (didnt explain anything and just walked behind us texting on his phone). He looked in a rush to leave. In the car, he was texting (extremely unsafe). We were really cold and asked him to turn off the AC three times. He either pretended he didnt understand us or was ignoring because he just giggled and continued. We cut the tour short (no lunch or coffee plantation) because we were fed up. When we finally got home, ketut called and asked for $200 (we were two people) plus ($33 in indonesian rupia) although he hasn’t mentioned the IDR cost or listed it online (and we didnt even go to most of the things). When i asked what this was for, he said “entrance fees” even though they are listed as included here. Super unethical. Next time ill ask a taxi to take me there separately and will book a jeep tour with wayan sugi or another individual jeep tour company. Everything here was a huge scam. Im disappointed.

Great trip to see the sunrise at Mount Batur. We had a VERY early pick up (2:30am) from Seminyak and we all had a little sleep in the car!
Arriving at the place where the jeeps were we were offered the chance to hire a blanket (well worth it!) and shown to our jeep.
A short bumpy ride later (lots of fun!) we were heading to our parking spot on the mountain. What I wasn’t expecting were the many hundreds of other jeeps on the mountain side, but in an incredible feat of parking, everyone seemed to have a brilliant view of the sunrise.
There was a breakfast on offer as well, which was banana sandwiches and a hard boiled egg. Plus coffee. Not ideal for everyone, so it may be worth taking your own snacks as well.
Our driver, Jro Radja, was great and took some lovely photos for us. Once the sun was up he drove us back via the black lava fields - very surreal and beautiful!

Good service, spectacular volcano view, exciting jeep tour. The driver was also a talented photographer who took a lot of creative pictures and videos for us. The hot springs afterwards were relaxing and beautiful. Just go for it!

It was an unforgettable experience to see sunrise on Mt Batur. My son and I enjoyed our experience. The Jeep driver was very nice and helpful. A surprising thing is that he was also a talented photographer and videographer so not only we had our moment but he documented beautiful photos and videos. Our tour guide was also helpful and very nice. Despite the delay for picking us up, the driver made it to drop us to the starting point on time. He gave us good service the whole afternoon afterwards. Thank you for your service. Very recommended!

Way beyond expectations! The guides are exceptionally accommodating during the ascent and descent, which are somewhat strenuous.
Go for the Jeep option: the part of the trek you skip with the Jeep isn't very nice anyway and the Jeep is pretty fun.
The coffee plantation part of the trip is skippable - there are others which are nicer in the Ubud area you can tack on to another excursion. But if you don't have another angle on this lined up, it's nice to have it tossed in.
Final tips: you don't need a towel as one is provided at the hot springs but you do need good shoes. We have extra grippy hiking shoes and were thankful for them on the volcanic rocks and dirt.

Amazing experience with the Bali Volcano team, fast, agile, team work. The sunrise view is also very amazing by riding a 4x4 jeep, basically it is highly recommended to join this company. Thank you Bali Volcano team

This is an absolute must! Such an amazing experience. Aldy picked us up from our hotel bright and early and drove us from Nusa Dua to Mt.Batur, a long trip but with a fantastic driver in an impressive car! He was so attentive and made sure we were comfortable.
We met Wayan our jeep driver at the collection point and ascended the mountain. Sunrise was spectacular with picturesque views over the caldera. Wayan is an exceptional photographer and captured insta worthy shots for us. He then drove us back through the farming village to see the black lava. Wayan was an absolute joy of a guide. Definitely recommend this tour.
