Great visit! This is the second time we go to the caves and the experience is good. Both times we have experienced a wait getting to board the tram, but once that is settled, it is a very enjoyable experience for young and old. This time they had an audio device that allowed us to listen to the descriptions in... More

Simply nature at its most majestic! The opportunity to see this was extraordinary and I have this a very good rating because of the site itself not the disorganized wait to enter the site. We arrived very early as suggested by another reviewer - there were about 5 cars ahead of us and 2 buses followed. You are given a series... More

Don't waste your time and money. We arrived in the early afternoon. Paid $4 to park and $18 person for the tour. At the time we got there, we noted there were maybe 100 people waiting. We struck up a casual conversation with another couple who informed us that they had been waiting over two hours, that the tour operator... More

I cannot stress how awful this place is run. I tried going there twice. First time, I arrived at 10:45 am just to be told that they were closed the rest of the day because all tours were booked. I was just told to arrive earlier next time. So I go back the next time at 8:15am. This time, I... More

After more than two hours driving, arrived at 11 am only to find they were closed for the day due to reaching the maximum number of visitors. We salvaged the day by going to Cueva Ventana where they had very little wait and the guides were excellent. The woman at the entrance of the Camuy Caverns spoke to the car... More

Left hotel at 7:30 a.m., returned at 7:00 p.m. We were told travel time was one hour each way. It was 2 1/2. Only allowed about 45 minutes in cave and 1:15 at observatory. The rest was traveling. A wasted vacation day. Rent a car and you can do in a fraction of the time.

I took my children here so they can see what nature can do. Tour is excellent. Bring good, no slippery shoes, arrive early and bring a good camera that can take pictures in dark places without need for flash. Only 1:15 min from San Juan.

This place was a little difficult to get to, but once we did, the tour was easy. We had vehicles drive us all the way down to the cave opening and we spent about an hour in the cave. We had headsets that we could listen to at different points in the cave to tell us more information and the... More

A beautiful location and neat experience. However, the theater no longer shows a video, the snack bar was not open (bring cash for vending machines), and the gift shop was expensive and very sad looking. We had a very long wait that they were unable to explain. The tour guide apologized several times. Also, it is VERY slippery even with... More

I was not expecting to see this marvelous natural gem! It was very impressive to say the least! It was an hour drive from San Juan but if it something you could manage, do not hesitate to visit. My kids loved it! The tour is very good, very tourist friendly and easy to follow! These are the real batmans caves!
